Ring of Honor was already a dead brand and Tony KWAB has only killed it even further. I'm not doubting that CW tried to get ROH last year when Tony was shopping it around and WBD spat in his face, but at this point a year on, zero chance anyone wants it.

Tony put zero effort into the brand. He could have revitalized it, created a brand war between RoH and AEW, redesigned the logos and belts, literally anything. Instead he does the laziest shit possible and acts shocked that the brand has zero value. Tony is a god damn hack and needs to step down from creative.

Its kind of wild how AEW did nothing with her, except shackle her to Brandi Rhodes for that cringe tag team tourney. The fact that Marin Shafir is still employed and Allie isn't is criminal.
 
Big heel turns were the rage tonight on Smackdown. Santos Escobar turned on Rey and the LWO while Asuka turned on Charlotte and Bianca during the main event to join Damage CTRL (reuniting with her former partners, Iyo and Kairi).
 
Late, but no one else here apparently watches Impact - next week we get Josh Alexander vs Will Osprey. On Free Fucking TV.

I’m calling something stupid to save the proper finish for - idk, Hard to Kill or something - but that still sounds like a fucking banger.

E - also apparently snuck out on me - Final Resolution, we get the Machine Guns vs Josh Alexander and a debuting Zack Sabre Jr. Yeah Impact has long shed the title of being Wrestling’s Lolcow.

It took them a while but in terms of a tv product they're on par with what ROH used to be. In terms of Wrestling's Lolcow, I'd say that would be NWA and Billy. It's been rather shit from the get go. He's made terrible decision after terrible decision. He's had one champion people cared about. Tried to do a women's only PPV thinking that he could do it better than the WWE with only what? Three women people knew of and couldn't get 20k ppv buys over all. No one can name more than four wrestlers who appear on it. Recently had a cocaine spot on PPV which may or may not have lost their chance on CW (juries still out on that but most point to it being completely lost). Even MLW managed a TV deal two months ago. Not sure where but they finally managed it and a new streaming deal.

Then you have all of the allegations Billy has in NWA.

The promotion is only alive because Billy's paying out of pocket for it and seems to be paying wrestlers 2007 TNA contracts.

On the realistic hand, he probably had some days off and went “Fuck it why not”. Least all the empty seats around him means they wouldn’t show him on TV, unlike… whichever chucklefucks WWE got pissed at for being in the crowd for a TNA taping back in the day.
