This has been a very solid week of wrestling, The Marigold Dream Star Finals were fantastic. Wrestle Princess 6 didn’t feel as grand as previous big shows but was good. All Out started absolutely horrifically, and one could argue was the weakest show of the week, but it had good moments and some great matches notably Okada vs Take vs Dorada. Now WrestlePalooza had the awesome Brock vs Cena squash. The week won’t go down in history or anything but fairly solid. And we got to see Mirai quit a fourth company lol.

For the third time in like a month, CM punk has gone over the top rope to the floor and caught his neck under the bottom rope and almost snapped his own neck. You can now literally make a compilation of him doing it. He needs to stop doing this. He needs to stop doing it to exit the ring. He needs to stop doing it during matches. He just can’t do it. He’s tempting fate with how lucky he has been the three times already because every single time his head has been completely under the rope.

Maybe he's doing it on purpose for the workers comp 😂

I’m starting to think he might be trying to get injured and failing maybe he’s just so goddamn good he can’t even injure himself.

When I saw someone post, the second one I was truly baffled I was blown away that there was even a second one. The fact that there has now been a third one is grounds for conspiracy, cause you’d have to be a complete fucking idiot to keep trying this thing that has so clearly almost broken your neck every single time.

AJ Lee cannot throw a working punch or a slap to save her fucking life. I've never cringed harder at women's wrestling.

Edit: and she fucked up that kickout after Becky hit her with the rock bottom.
You’ve never watched Raku. If only I had the WEBMs I made years ago of Raku.

Fuck me they really took the long way around with that intergender tag match. Way too long of a match, no CM Punk finally beating the shit out of that redheaded cunt Becky, and AJ Lee showed that she desperately needs to go down to NXT and re-learn how to fucking work. The "you still got it" chants made me laugh after seeing her throw those godawful slaps. Then being late to kick out of that pin attempt so the ref had to pause the 3 count briefly. And her mannerisms and facial expressions at times were just odd as fuck. It's like she's trying to be Crazy AJ Lee from 10 years ago, but the best she can do is to arch her back weirdly, make stupid faces and constantly play with her fucking hair.

She's still very Divas-era trained.
She's gonna be limited to wrestling Becky, Natalya & Maxxine Dupre if she doesn't improve.
Cuz ain't no way you can get a match out of her with Vaquer or Ripley (hell, even Liv) without them hard-carrying AJ.

if only there was like, some sort of rule about not using closed fists
that would be such a great narrative excuse for why most people don't just punch the opponent (and clearly not because most worked punches look like shit)
Pretty sure I saw Cena throw some closed fists on Brock, although that's just how Cena throws his shots. He's good at worked punches. I don't think that rule is heavily enforced these days 😉

E: HOLY FUCK TAKER WHAT

Stop doing American badass knock it off. This fucking loser is probably just here to announce the attendance.

Well, it’s weirder than I thought it would be. He just took a seat next to Stephanie McMahon. And they’re doing a weird gimmick where Stephanie is stalking him.

STEPHANIE MCMAHON HALL OF FAME SEPTEMBER IS INCREDIBLY EARLY TO ANNOUNCE ONE

Stephs in the Hall of Fame next year

How is that filthy, dirty, disgusting, bottom feeding, trash bag ho with the ginormous bazookas in the HoF before Shane-O-Mac? :(

For as much as I disliked Steph on screen, former staff backstage have had nothing but good things to say about her, to the point some basically say she was the only good person in management. I also believe Michael Cole 100% when he says he probably wouldn't be here without her, she was somewhat famously known in the dirtsheets to be the only McMahon to actually go to bat for people.
Her hands aren't entirely clean though, the whole concept of having writers instead of a booking team was allegedly her idea. But she certainly deserves the HOF more than people like the fucking Bella Twins.

Cornette said that, but not for Steph, but Shane.
According to Jim, Steph inherited Vince's shark-instincts and ruthlessness. Shane was almost too nice to succeed in the business.

Maybe I've only heard from former writers. It would make sense that she'd protect the group she made.

Wrestlemania is damn near exactly 6 months away. That has to be the earliest they’ve ever done a Hall of Fame announcement. Either maybe they’re moving it to a different date or they’re trying to bring prestiege to it by building the announcements over literally half a year.
