It's weird how often WWE teased or switched around what the main event to Wrestlepalooza is going to be. First it was Cena vs Brock, which made sense since we haven't seen Brock in two years and Cena is on his retirement tour. Then it was AJ/Punk vs Becky/Seth, which also made sense since we haven't seen AJ in ten years and everyone else involved is a main eventer. Now it's the filler title match between Cody and Drew? I don't get why unless they're actually doing the title change, which I seriously doubt because Cody just won the thing back a month ago.
 
Since Raw moved to Netflix I don't watch it, and I usually forget Smackdown is on, so basically I don't watch the WWE anymore. I'll just catch what gets posted here or SCjerk for the most part.

I watched a little of the Wrestlemania in Saudi Arabia announcement and Christ Almighty, it actually looked like a hostage video from the early 80s (if the hostages were a bit better dressed). If I gave a damn, I'd actually feel bad for Triple H having this kind of shit imposed on him by TKO, lol.

So some shitty match that Kidd Bandit had with some gay british midget in the same company that had Jim Sterling and Kidd Bandit got uploaded in it's entirety, in all of its cringiness.
 
Word on the street is that Jazwares and AEW have officially "parted ways", so their toy line is dead. The writing has been on the wall for awhile, but what's interesting is its been longer rumored that AEW was paying Jazwares to make the figures instead of a traditional licensing agreement where Jazwares would be paying AEW for the rights.

If that really was the case, that means either AEW can't afford to keep losing money on pointless ventures, which is another sign of financial trouble. Or Jazwares themselves declined to keep making them because it's bad being associated with a dying brand.

Either way, there's not a chance in hell anyone else touches them outside of Indy boutique toy makes like the Major Bros or Zombie Sailor Toys.

Sometimes I forget that they even had a toy line to begin with. Tell me, of all the top names on AEW, who would push the most merch in action figure sales? Which star appeals the most a younger demographic? I ask because every time I happen by the toy aisle in Walmart, I see a few empty WWE action figure pegs, but the AEW toys are practically untouched.

IIRC they were putting all their eggs in the Punk basket and hoping his first figure would pull the figure venture out of the red. Obviously that didn't work too well, since then their top figure seller is fuckin Sting lol.
 
AEW are unthinkably retarded. They are retarded in ways that no other wrestling company has ever been retarded in history. They’re currently competing with themselves by having two different preshow shows going on. TNT HBO Max and Triller is tailgate brawl which has matches going on and then on YouTube and other places it’s fucking zero hour which has people talking in the ring clearly taped earlier in the day. They are fucking counter programming themselves holy shit.

They are terrible for putting out too much stuff. If the network/streaming service asks them for content they'll just throw out stuff like Dark, Dark Elevation, Battle of the Belts, any amount of RoH stuff etc.

Dilutes their product an awful lot. This is just more of that mentality.

It's not shocking. I honestly feel bad for Jazwares it seems everytime they release a series half the people in it is either gone from the promotion or haven't been on TV for months.

You can still find Nyla Rose and Dark Order figures on the shelf and those were released like 4 years ago

Also here's Punk being fucking hilarious and jerking the AEW wrestling youtubers.

Guy who famously crashed out twice in 2 separate promotions makes a joke about crashing out. I'll admit I was expecting for him to have thrown a tantrum over something by now, though.
 
They started the show by Edge and Christian talking to some hockey player and then two genuine make a wish looking retards like I’d bet money that both of these men have down syndrome and why did Tony allow a knock off 24 7 title on the fucking show?

That's Bubbles, a character from the Canadian comedy show Trailer Park Boys. He has an alter ego that's a pro wrestler called the Green Bastard, and they are in Canada so it actually makes sense and is kinda cool. I am biased because I'm a fan of the Trailer Park Boys.

Holy fuck, do I hate Eddie Kingston. He and moxley embody the mentality that hinders AEW's inability to adapt and grow. "Do what you want, even if it's something you shouldn't be doing." How long is he going to larp as some early NJPW reject before someone sits him down and tells him that his offense looks like shit and clashes with his image of being a hardnosed tough guy from New York? It's also another example of AEW taking another indy darling well past their prime years, presenting them to a new audience, and showcasing their worst attributes. WWE spent years disparaging indy wrestling, ignoring and writing off the accomplishments of independent wrestlers they signed up from ROH and TNA, yet I'd argue that AEW has done more damage to the image of the indy scene by accident than WWE ever did on purpose.
 
Beth Copeland made her debut and speared Stokley. I saw this clip on X and wow, Excalibur is literally the worst commentator in the history of wrestling. Him laughing instantly right after it happens kills it.

Maybe because it's fresh in mind since Cornette talked about Danielson joining the commentary team and then they talked about how bad Excalibur especially him just laughing at everything. Now seeing the clip just really highlighted how bad he is.
