With Hololive and Gura, I don't think there was anything they could have done about it, because it seems that one of the major issues for her was the permission bullshit that comes with working with a Japanese company, and probably mixed with that a lot of her friends had recently up and left.
This Ironmouse situation, on the other hand, was completely unavoidable, and there has to be some cataclysmic issues in the corporation for this to even get to this point.

This clip from Camila's stream just dropped, and it seems like she already knew a decent amount about this, which means others probably knew about it to. Zentreya and Matara are also more or less saying/implying that this kind of shit is why they ended up leaving.

After watching the Ironmouse vid a couple of times I've made a couple observations and have a pretty good guess as to what has happened.

We know she basically let Vshojo handle her finances. We know they apparently donated to the charity the first subathon she did, but not the second. She is now claiming she is owed a "significant amount of money" and that they didn't pay the charity for the second subathon.

My guess is when she finally decided she was going to try and take on the tiniest amount of responsibility and manage her own finances, she finally realized the company had been robbing her blind. Like a child actor with greedy parents, they more than likely used her account as a piggy bank for the company simply telling themselves they'd fix it later.

Only, later always comes, and they never fixed it.

Here's what I don't know. How long has this been brewing? They've been hemorrhaging talent for the past month. Hell, Geega, Matara, and Zentreya alone make up over 30% of their watch hours. Sure, the money is in the merch, but no one is buying merch for nobodies like Froot. That's to say nothing of losing staff like mowtendo who have been there forever.

How into her 30s is Ironmouse? Her birthday on her channel says she's 28. Unless she's 36 or older or her child is younger than 18, that means she got high school teen pregnant.
It's not entirely uncommon for teen pregnancies to be handled by the baby's grandparents, since the desire is for the mother to get an education and employment, and by the time that's taken care of the kid is already through the toughest years, so the grandparents just keep doing it.
