Final Fantasy VI Advance

I beat the Dragon's Den and Soul Shrine, and collected every esper. That's about as close as I got to 100%ing anything, though I didn't go to the trouble of teaching everyone every single spell or grinding everyone up to level 99. In fact, I don't even think I broke level 70 with anyone.

Then again, I aimed for keeping my levels as low as I could until I got a few particular espers that gave good level up bonuses, and mostly kept those espers equipped on my main party the whole rest of the game. So, I was very careful in teaching Relm and Celes magic, swapping them back to the espers that gave +2 magic bonuses on level up. I probably could have soloed Kaiser Dragon with my level 60 Relm.

But then I declared I wouldn't do that with Gau, so I ended up having him learn every single spell in the game along the way, just to be silly. Gau's practically broken the moment he gets Stray Cat, anyway.

Sidenote: I really do recommend the Dragon's Den in the FFVI rereleases, you have to fight the 8 dragons again but they all have some form of gimmick, with one only being killable by draining his MP all the way. That was a lot of fun, having to chip away at him slowly by way of Osmose.

I've 100%ed Skyrim on multiple platforms.

All possible companions recruited
All unique horses found
All spells learned
All houses and expansions bought
All words learned
All unique weapons found
All Daedric artifacts found
All unique items found (i.e. Yeti skull that summons big dude)
All locations uncovered
All quest chains completed
All skills maxed out

The quest log at the end will still have radiant quests like Dark Brotherhood Forever and other shit like that. Those continue to infinity so there's no real ending to those.

You can also collect all types of armor easily with storage space and crafting.

I 100%'d GTA III, IV and V, because I love me some run-gun-shooty-fun. Exploring the Pacific Ocean in V was very enjoyable, loved the underwater ambience. I even found the hatch!

It depends on what you mean by 100%

Final Fantasy III: Taught every character Ultima.
Diddy Kong Racing: Beat T.T.'s ghost in every race and acquired him as a racer.

Anybody besides me hate themselves for this stuff? I remember smashing up my FF III cartridge with a hammer because I couldn't stop fighting dinosaurs in that forest until every character was level 99. I was having zero fun and didn't understand why I was doing it. I remember someone I knew playing diablo 2, obsessively grinding for gear or something and complaining about the same thing. It's like the game hijacks that part of your brain that drives you follow a job through to perfection but instead of doing top-notch masonry work or mastering calculus you've just pissed away a weekend without enjoying it.

Holy shit that must have taken forever. You had to play the game 8 times and A-rank every stage twice. And then there’s Super Hard mode.
it was during a time when your a kid with alot of time on your hands and you only got 1-2 games a year. being a big sonic fan and having autism did help though.

another game i 100% recently was dragons dogma. getting all the vanilla gear and finishing all the quests was a pain in the ass but everything else was easy.

I'll never understand the correlation between genuine autism and the Sonic franchise. I mean I had a couple Sonic games but I never found them something somebody could get REALLY invested into the story or whatever, like Metal Gear or FF.

I guess the closest would be Hitman 2 Silent Assassin and Contracts, by accident. I used to play them all the time and kept challenging myself with each playthrough, of course getting Silent Assassin rankings, only using the suit, getting all the end screen stats to read "0". Even would play it roguelike where if I was caught I had to restart the whole game. Not until around Absolution released and I wanted to replay the old games to wash the horrible taste out of my mouth did I realize a bunch of people had done those types of playthroughs.

Other than that, I don't try to get 100% in games, since most developers' idea of creating an extra "challenge" is by placing collectibles in random places and expecting people to scour every inch of the map to find them. FUCK that noise, exploration should be encouraged, but not forced. I liked Red Dead's treasure hunts where it gives you a crude map of hand-drawn landmarks, and you're supposed to pay more attention to your surroundings. Way better than "Some dude threw darts at the game map, knowing most people are just going to look it up online anyways".

Super Mario World
Yoshi's Island
Donkey Kong Country 1 & 2
Jet Set Radio Future
Halo 1, 3, ODST, Reach and 4
Cawadoody 4: MW and MW2
Red Faction Guerilla
Saints Row 3 and 4
Batman: Arkham Asylum and City
Sleeping Dogs
Battlefield: Bad Company 2, BF3 and BF4
Mass Effect 1 & 2
Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, 3 & Black Flag
Conan Exiles
LotR: Shadow of Mordor
Tekken 6 & 7
Street Fighter IV
Virtual Fighter 5: FS
Valiant Hearts
Deadlight

My collect-a-thon days have taken a nosedive with life and work though, hoping I can eventually get through my ever-growing backlog. The other major obstacle is dumb online achievements to old games with dead multiplayer.

I think I entirely finished Infinite Space, a DS scifi RPG.

Maybe Final Fantasy V (GBA) too.

Final fantasy 7, killed all super bosses, got 3 copies of all master materia, all limit breaks on all characters, everyone's ultimate weapon. The only things I've never done are the grind to overflow Vincent's ultimate weapon and grind sources to max everyone's stats.

Bloodstained ritual of the night, did everything I could find. Map explored completely, bestiary filled, all shards collected, all weapon skills learned. If i missed something, it's too hidden for my tism.

Any game that requires 100% completion for a trophy/achievement because I'm a goddamn whore for that shit.

I've definitely done more than the 2 I listed, but I'm nowhere near my games and I'm blanking on what games I've played.

i remember doing 101% in DKC and 102% in DKC2, fucking hated those DK coins that involved getting them thru the exit of the level, and some of the bonus stage locations were pain in the asses too

Kirby's Dreamland
Damn, what’s your secret to beating Extra Mode?

How do you beat The Kid’s Warp Zone in Super Meat Boy? I can only beat the first level out of the three.

Barely.

It took like couple hours really. Not in one sitting too. I almost quit. Not to mention I did it on keyboard (I still kinda prefer smb on keyboard)
First one was the hardest for imo some reason.

Castlevania: SOTN and all the GBA ones.

In recent times, it's just random Indie games (e.g. Game Dev Tycoon). I wish I had the time being more autistic to 100% complete the games I want.

Not really. I was 13. I was either going to play Final Fantasy III for an hour or watch the same episode of Batman I had seen a hundred times before.

And with three save slots three people could sit around talking and take turns grinding economizers from that dinosaur so everyone could cast ultima all the time. FF6 was really fun as a communal game and it is what makes me (sort of) understand the people grinding in online games while talking on team speak or whatever it is called.

Vice City 100%

I might have done 100% in Sleeping Dogs, I don't really remember, but I remember that it's the only game in a looooong time that I have played through multiple times and enjoyed every moment of it.

Another game I can almost say I 100%'d, but can't because it's a luck-based challenge, is Earthbound. One of your party members has exactly one weapon in the entire game, the Sword of Kings, and it's an extremely rare 1/128 drop from a fairly difficult enemy that's in exactly one point of the game. Once you complete the dungeon he's in, he stops spawning altogether.

I ground Ness up to level 99 trying to get that stupid thing and never got one. And that's before you get the massive experience & stat boost from completing Magicant.
