A survival game set in some 1984 style grimdark universe where you get a procedurally generated character and try not to die for as long as possible. You start off in some shitty appartment and have a randomly assigned job that youd need to do to get just barely more than what youll need for food, having surveilance cameras nearly everywhere.

Youd take over areas by smashing cameras and fighting off cops which would cause NPCs to join in, theyd start with shit weapons like rocks and sticks until they manage to beat some cops and take their guns and actually fight effectively. Youd then be fighting off sieges constantly until you die

Mass Effect 4, only they just go with the destroy ending and Shepard survived but it's been 6 months or something, and has to try and just keep galactic politics together since everyone is all fucked up. Utilize the gamesave setup Dragon Age Inquisition did where you could log in to your account, mark your choices from the previous games, and that's your file to upload to play ME4.

Mass Effect Andromeda was such shit, they even fucked up the fun multiplayer. I feel like Rich Evans feels about the franchise now.

A modern pmc simulator where you have to outfit and supply your teams in the field, pick and choose contracts that are lucrative enough to pay the bills but not so dangerous that you lose half your guys in some war torn shithole, and enough weapons and equipment options to make progression feel meaningful. Also maybe some kind of persistent world map where you can see how things play out depending on which sides you aid in various conflicts.

I'd love a proceduraly generated Stardew Valley type game where you're the founder of a town. You'd grow your farmstead in the wilderness and as you did other people would move in. You could design buildings for them, and lay out streets but they'd add their own touches. I'd be happy with Minecraft style cube graphics but anything better than that word be gravy.

I'm sure it's already been said a million times in this thread already but Half Life 3, or a conclusion of some sort. Valve was riding so high when The Orange Box came out it boggles my mind it was never finished.

I really wish that there were more games that were able to be played by the Visually Impaired.

The only games I am able to play are the very early Mario Games (Super Mario Bros series from the NES and SNES) and the early Guitar Hero games on the PS2 (the games for the later consoles had more detail in the background and smaller dots, so it became harder for me to see them).

I really wish I could join in with my friends, especially in games where you can play with (and verbally abuse) those around the world, but as technology moves on and games become more realistic and lifelike, it shuts me out, as "Real Life sight" is pretty shit for me, to be honest.

We have lots of consoles in our house, from Xbox One all the way back to NES, but I would love to play more up to date games.

A Warhammer 40K FPS where you play as a Guardsman fighting to liberate a single world from Chaos infection, only to have the Space Marines drop in at the last moment and claim all the glory while you get shipped off to the next war zone. It would have to be something very cinematic like the CoD games, but with a constant reminder that you're just a single cog in an endlessly vast machine and the greatest achievement you can ever aspire to be is a footnote in the history of the Imperium. You're not Doom Guy, you're not The Chosen One, or The Emperor's Finest, you're just a human who seems to be a little luckier than everyone around you and you're going to fight like hell to get your mission done with the help of everyone around you.

I really just want a ground-level view of the Imperium that still shows all the glorious heights of the 41st Millennium, but reminds the player that they're only one step from the bottom. I think those are the most meaningful stories, where people of common birth and ability, pull off the amazing.

You should look into Pc gaming, alot of smaller or older games with options for very little background.

Return to the Obra Dinn 2

The game nails so much areas but it needs a bit more polish, trim the bullshit (boots ,accents and the way you navigate between deaths) and make the gameplay deeper

Battlefield 3 remastered or a Operation Flashpoint (Arma Cold war assault) port to consoles like the Switch.

A painfully specific and niche one but I would want a remake of the Creatures series, preferably Exodus.
It is an utter pain in the ass to play it vanilla and on newer pcs , the concept is really cool , I feel like at this day in age we could really make the AI way better, and I really, really love the design of the Norns and Ettins.
I would play more but like i said it's just a huge hassle to get it to function properly with agents (aka mods) so sadly its those kinds of games that really need those enhancements if you intend to play it without getting frustrated with how clunky/not novice-friendly it is

There's a small following to it but it consists of people who are like- really nerdy about it and this game really dives into some complicated shit such as genetics, social behaviors, lineages, etc

The game series was made by Steven Grand who is a pretty cool guy, he is supposedly developing another AI life game (Grandriods) but it isnt related to creatures sadly, Seems like he lost the rights to it. I don't even know if he's doing shit with Grandriods either, seems abandoned/ignored, could be wrong though - supposedly the project is pretty hush hush.

I know there was an attempt to reboot the series (creatures 4) but it just looks like horseshit and it was abandoned anyways thankfully
edit: actually he's still working on Grandriods, so thats good to know.

A spiritual successor to MegaMan battle network. I might have to learn how to code in order make this a reality...

This game has the gameplay and style but does not have that story.

A comfy, light-hearted fantasy merchant simulator where you can set up a shop and go into a wide array of businesses, whether it be a shop dedicated to selling all types of potions, specially rare weapons or tamed monsters.

You're free to customize your shop to your liking, you can talk to citizens and fellow shop owners in town and socialize (and maybe even strike business deals with them if you're friendly enough), and the way you fill up your shop's stock is all up to you (go into the dungeons and fight for shit, trade, raise animals, whatever).

Basically Moonlighter but with more focus on the shop part, more freedom and developed characters.
