I kind of want a b-movie game. Like you'd have I dunno cavemen, aliens, monster pills that kind of stuff and you could just dick around in Nevada I guess. Maybe have quests where you activly stop B-movie plots from happening. And it would have to have bad voice acting, stilted character models, bad props.

I guess I'd also like a game set in a Metropolis style city with blimp ports and art deco skyscrapers and the existence of Venusian Jungles. I dunno what you'd do but we don't really see that design style much any more.

I would love a series like Assassin's Creed but without the horseshit simulation framing device and over reliance on repetitive stealth and trailing missions.

Basically we need more accurate historical RPGs. I'm hoping the success of Kingdom Come leads to that but I'm so damn sick of knights and Europoor trash heap villages

How about a GTA type game but set during Chicago during prohibition. You'd have the mafia, bootleggers, & paying off the police so they leave you alone until you do something particuarly dumb. Maybe you could tomy gun up rival families. The best part of the game would be being Itallian.

My latest idea would be another 40K game where you play as a humble member of the Imperial Guard. It can be a solo campaign like Battlefield or CoD with aheavy emphasis on cinematic set-pieces and story, as well as a strong multiplayer component with vehicles, destructable buildings, and more.

I want this game to really make the player sympathise with the average guardsman and show what a terrible, horrifying world they inhabit and the kinds of monsters they're expected to fight and kill. The player would mostly be fighting an army of chaos cultists who've taken over a planet or hive, or are about to invade a world. You can have the standard, poorly equipped cultist, then more advanced and specilised cultist troopers until finally you have to fight a chaos marine. The fight would be an extended boss fght where you win more through luck than skill, because there's no way a guard can beat a chaos marine in a fair fight.
Later, when the player and his companions are about to be overrun, a Space Marine chapter arrives and wipe out the enemy. The final scene would be the player and their surviving friends complaining about the Astartes taking all the credit, but are just glad to have survived the war. Then they recieve their orders to pack up and prepare to travel to the next warzone.

The guardsmen need to feel strong in their own right, but absolutely powerless compared to a chaor or space marine. The space marines need to feel nearly god-like in their power, as they would to an average human. That's the only way you can really appriciate how powerful they are.

By some crazy coincidence, a Gears of War spinoff inspired by XCOM was announced at E3... for PC only.

I wish there was an Xbox One port...

With Fallout 76 on it's way and after reading about how nasty the United States used to be before the war. Just out of curiosity, I wish there was a Fallout spin-off that takes place in the pre-war world.

And yeah, I know the game in a nutshell would be a Grand Theft Auto clone with an atompunk makeover and the player's action won't mean shit from 2078 onwards. But still, I would love to play it.

Another good Fallout game. Another good cRPG in general.

2 games
1. something following the story of the black shields during the Horus heresy, the story taking place from a loyalist or traitor and seeing the both sides deal with the psychological trauma of the the drop site massacre an the the smaller battles taking place within the traitor legions.

2. basically Starpoint Gemini Warlords with a 40k skin and story of you adventuring into the eastern fringe and potentially discovering new systems and new xenos races.

I really liked those block pushing puzzle dungeons in Wild Arms. I think it was WA2. I was so sad when I did the last one and there were no more left.:(

I'm sure there's something out there like it. You had to get all the blocks to disappear by matching the colors up by pushing them together. They were often stacked up on top of each other and on platforms. You could easily make a mistake and end up with extra blocks with no matches.

I want another survival horror game in the same vein as the classic Resident Evil and Silent Hill games. I sort of wish REmake 2 followed the same formula as the last REmake did. I liked what I saw and I think the game will be great, but how awesome would it have been if it played similarly to the older RE games?

I know that style of gameplay isn't really popular anymore, and a lot of people are quick to decry it as outdated, but we've seen a number of genres make a comeback in the last couple of years, and I would love classic survival horror to come back.

I'd love a mainstream ASCII Roguelike game that is perfectly 1:1 offline and online. Meaning, no holds barred, you get the same true-to-form random environment formula both online and offline.

EDIT: Okay I live under a rock something like this probably does exist already.

After the Resident Evil 2 remake comes out, I hope Capcom does the same for 3. Nemesis needs to be rendered in glorious HD, dammit.
