I've been reading the twitter feed of socialautopsy, and it is absolutely fucking insane even by gamergate standards.

A rundown of this whole thing:
The chick that runs it is just a normal person. Not an SJW. I think she got bullied in high school or something, and she actually has honest intentions about wanting to stop bullying, even though the implementation is a horrible idea.
Zoe Quinn called her on the phone and demanded she abort the project. She was right about some of it (A broken clock is right twice a day). Of course, Zoe's real issue was that it was ideologically neutral, it would expose her as a bully, and be in competition with her own CON. Kind of like with TFYC, she initially assumed Zoe had good intentions and gave her her email to discuss things. When she told Zoe she wouldn't just abandon the whole thing right then and there, Zoe broke down in tears and literally cried on the phone, saying it would "ruin everything!"
Randi Harper had her own meltdown. She wrote a bunch of shit about it and got into a twitter fight with socialcoroner. Then when the kickstarter was taken down, Randi took credit for it.
There were emails between Zoe and socialcoroner that got increasingly bizarre. This is where Zoe started saying that gamergate would come after her. Socialcoroner had no idea what GG even was. Then all of a sudden, she started getting spammed hard with racist/sexist/threatening emails, all with "gamer" in their names. But here's the best part. The email address wasn't public. The only people who knew about it were business partners and maybe family members/personal friends. And Zoe Quinn.
Fucking. Busted.
Then, she interviewed with the ralph retort.
A point of interest: The harassment emails all started at once. Then when she pointed out somewhere that Zoe was the only public figure that had that email address, they just stopped. Completely. All at once.
Now, Socialcoroner is on the warpath against Zoe and Randi. She's getting introduced to GG, is already aware of the Twitter rat king that is antiGG(she's their main target at this point). She still has no clue how deep the rabbit hole goes(she actually believes the media will interview her and then write an honest article), but she's apparently going to release all the threatening emails. She's still really wrong about a lot of things. She's gone a little overboard on the conspiracy theory side of things (there's a lot of valid criticism that she's lumping in with the aGG crazies, and she believes it's more heavily centered on the LWs than it actually is). She claims to be well connected, but we'll see how that goes. One can only hope, even though I have my doubts.
Whatever happens, it's looking to be some of the best internet drama I've seen in a long time.
tl;dr Person with good intentions and no clue how the internet works proposes a horrible idea, inadvertently pisses off aGG, and is slam-dunked straight down the GG rabbit hole.
