Man, I wished Hotwheels was a surprise guest on the show.
 
So I've been thinking about how Gamergate keeps getting written off as a sexist misogynistic movement. It seems weird to me that people claim that's what its purpose is while at the same time saying the norm in gaming is sexism and misogyny. Why would a movement spontaneously erupt to promote business as usual?

I want to see her response. If its anything other than an apology for being able bodied the SJW community might implode. It raises the question of how the scale of oppression works. She might be smart enough to just keep her mouth shut and walk away with the burn.

These people have the ability to change things.

Remember Anita Sarkeesian is considered an "academic" by MSNBC. This shit has reached nationally syndicated news outlets. Anita was also hired as a consultant on Mirror's Edge 2. Game developers like Tim Schafer have recommended other game developers to watch her videos.

The fact of the matter is if you don't fight it now we won't get an option to fight it later. And cynically dismissing it just gives them more power in the long run.

The way they are painting this, those who are against GG want more diversity in the gaming culture, but the white cismanbaby gamers don't want to let icky girls, trans* and colored into their boys' club. Like #NotYourShield has proven, this is utter bullshit.

So Zoe Quinn backed out of the Huffington Post thing because she believed she had been tricked into a debate that she originally thought was just going to be an interview.

Oops! Zoe messed up. Turned out it was an interview after all. Now it looks like there is currently nobody to represent the anti-GG side. I'm sure they'll find someone but yeah... she kind of looks bad now.

He makes a really good point. Why should a journalist give a podium to a rapist and abuser like Zoe Quinn, when all she wants to do is harass a poor man with disabilities?
