CNN already had an article against Gamergate. Some people are encouraging everyone to bring this up with "media watchdog groups" like Accuracy In Media and Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting.

That happened the moment Breitbart (sic?) and MSNBC got a hold of the story. To the SJW's and their supporters the Anti-GG is progressivist left and Pro-GG are KKK and Neo-Nazi advocates. Honestly it doesn't surprise me that MSNBC is Anti-GG though. At this point it wouldn't matter if Fox wrote an article on the story.

Also I doubt CNN and definately MSNBC will put that much effort into fact checking what they probably consider an unimportant issue.

In a world with Isis, ebola, Supreme Court's recent not review gay marriage, etc Gamergate isn't an important issue. I mean should they cover that one porn guy doing art for Marvel for a month? Of course not it's a non-issue.

Parasite Eve/2 are such overlooked, amazing games. I legitimately want to hear the SJW's take on Aya Brea, though they'd probably just drag up the couple of risque pieces of artwork made for the first game and cry mysoggyknee.

Hey, So-called SJW peeps.

Aya has a shower scene in Parasite Eve 2. It's short, you see nothing, and it ends because a giant motherfucking ANMC the size of an elephant shows up to wreck shit.

Is that objectionable? Not really, unless you're someone who pathologically hates showers or hates the concept that people might have to be naked to take one. You can take the argument that it isn't really a necessary scene, but the whole point of it was to show that Aya picked up that something was fucked from something as easy to miss as the water draining in the shower, and you can see worse on fucking any show on network TV after 7 PM.

Now let's look at The Third Birthday. In addition to Aya being as personality-free as a character from FFXIII, we have her being reduced to eye candy: Aya's unlockable outfits include a maid outfit, skimpy swimear, a bunny suit, and probably the most offensive of them all, Lightning's outfit. All of which can be shredded to be even skimpier (seriously, the swimwear may as well be nipple tassels and panties after a given boss fight). It also has a special secret camera you can unlock that focuses on Aya's ass, and a shower scene of its own - one that focuses primarily on her tits, with no purpose other than being there. With a character, lest I be neglecting to bring this up, that's a 16-year old in an adult's body.

Now, with a straight face, tell me which one you feel is more exploitative.

See, there's some for-realz misogyny they could go for here, but they won't.

Listened to the whole bbc talk and it was actually mildly pro-gamergate!

had a pretty douchy sounding murican journalist being pretty mediocrely anti gamergate, and a fcking brilliant indian journalist who cut through to the heart of why gamergate is pissed with the industry being seen to give legups to devs they like. the host was professional and actually seemed a lil pro gamergate, and there was another guy with the host who displayed contempt of all videogames but had nothing to say on the matter

Heaven forbid that people (especially men) get sexually aroused at all. /sarcasm

But, if a character is actually shown to be devoid of personality and is underaged in a game with that sort of stuff, that may be a different story...
