I suspect Chris may go to prison. After that Barb might either die of old age or have to go live in assisted living at a home somewhere. The house will probably be abandoned, and probably won't be demolished either, unless the neighbors pay for the demolition (I have no clue how the state/city decides on when to demolish an abandoned house).

It'll probably have weirdos picking through the remains for find stuff of Christorical value. Probably some deranged ween will squat in it for as long as they can.

Barb and Chris owe a shitton of money. The house will be used to pay off their debts.

You guys are overthinking this. If Chris gets convicted and Barb dies then either a ween, a neighbor, or a local firefighter will burn the abandoned house down in the middle of the night. There's so much shit that it will be just about impossible to investigate. Arson, unfortunately, is the way that properties of niche fame tend to go.

That’s more than likely the inevitable chain of events

Assuming that barb is not allowed to move back to her house, the bank or whoever chris and barb owe money to will probably take the house as payment. After that it will either get sold to some unlucky souls who will probably get harassed by retards for living at the house chris lived at. So pretty much the same shit as what happened at the house that Walter White lived in when they filmed breaking bad.

That or it will burn down. Either one I'm expecting.

Well, right until the rape, Null had already decided he'd buy the house in case of Barb's death just so Chris wouldn't ever be homeless, along with trying to keep Chris working consistently :story: on his drawings to pay for his finances.
How was he gonna solve the problems with the bank, all the shit with their debts, only he knows but maybe time will tell and if/when Chris gets released, we might see how this keeps developing.

That wouldn't be the hard part, you can always crowdfund with some preservation of internet history angle. Fuck, even after Chris got disavowed by the few who still cared about him, he is still getting supported by weens and other enablers while in prison. It's not too hard to picture Chris getting help in keeping the house when Barb passes!

man i wish someone nice who cares about christory would buy it, preserve it and let those interested make pilgrimages there
It would have to be Chris himself, I believe. This is nice and all, but most people interested in this live outside Virginia. Chris isn't the most beloved person around his town given the large list of places that banned him, and owning 14 BC makes you a person of interest for many groups, the main one being Chris himself who will get back there no matter the cost!

Not even Bella-like weens are retards to the point of sending the new owners a pipe bomb or something like that, but fuck me if the homeowner won't have to deal with all sorts of horseshit!

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those whiteknights who now publicly denounce him, still support him privately just to avoid the deserved backlash.

He would lose it in a couple of years. You can't just "buy a house" and that is the end of it. There's property taxes, maintenance, utilities, city trash pickup costs, insurance, repairs... Chris is in no position to maintain a house by himself. Raising money to buy the house for him would be a catastrophe. All the money would go straight into the hole.

I expect that as well. Tear it down, and build a new house with a completely different design so people who know the history would be less likely to harrass whoever ends up living there.

That's what they did with the house used for the exterior shots in Family Matters.

Reality: Some unsuspecting family will purchase the house after the bank forecloses. Weens will still visit. I'll feel sorry for the family.
I'm sure the family will very quickly realize why the house was so cheap after the 7th ding dong ditcher or guy screaming julay before throwing fanta orange at the door. Whoever this family is, they do not deserve the hell they are gonna get from retarded weens who are gonna make throwing pizzas on the roof look normal.

That's assuming the house even stays. We're looking at a decades old house that likely still has unaddressed fire damage (Because Barb) on a plot of unkempt land. While wood prices would discourage a fully built new house, I can see a developer bulldozing the land wholesale and then dropping some kind of pre-fabricated unit on it.

The City would have to condemn it first. Which takes some time unless it is a true safety hazard. As others have said, the local Police and Fire might simply come to an understanding if it becomes a major neighborhood issue, and it will simply tragically burn to the foundation one night with no witnesses. And the Fire department will experience some technical issues with water supply which will delay them from putting it out. No cause of fire will ever be determined and it will be written up as "Act of God".

I'm not saying that this sort of thing happens, but yeah, it happens. Generally when a property is abandoned, ownership is unclear, and the police start experiencing methhead and wandering weirdo problems. Sometimes it is in the communities legitimate interests to quietly speed the condemnation process along a bit. My old Chief and the local Police Chief had an understanding. If an abandoned building got lit on fire by crackheads doing their thing, we would save the building. And whoever owned the building would be told to fix it and secure it or else. If the crackheads came back and lit there fire a second time, Then we would either let it burn to the ground then and there. Or burn it to the ground ourselves the following night.
