Kiwis have speculated that since the house got fixed up after the fire it’s probably not as bad as we think it is, especially if the bones are solid. There’s been some in depth discussion.
Depending on if the foundations of the house are still sound or not. We know for sure that apart from putting holes in the plaster walls with his head, he wasn't doing any handy man work or tampering with the house in any other way, and as long as the hoarding hasn't caused the flooring to accumulate mold and potentially cause the house to start rotting away, then there should be no big reason to demolish it.
It may be in hicksville but I'm sure it would be picked up by some interested buyer, for house flipping or just as a shitty rental house to own for side income or whatever, the costs of demolishing it may not even be worth it.
I've seen decades old mobile homes still pull through with absolute bare minimum maintenance. I'm talking collapsed ceilings and hardcore mold and water damage on top of hoarding, but people would still slap on a quick fix and live in them like nothing happened.
The house will be fine, physically speaking. There's no reason for demolition unless they want to build something over it. 14BC can easily get flipped and rented by an investor. I can honestly see some rich Christorian picking it up and renting it as an airbnb to autists who are way too invested in Chris.
The biggest thing going for 14BC not being leveled as soon as the bank gets full ownership is the post-fire rebuild. However, we should not underestimate what damage the Chandlers can do - the rental they stayed in while 14BC was being repaired was, following the departure of the Chandlers, noticeably left vacant for
months which for a rental property is obscene as that means it isn't making money, and thus there had to be something truly wrong going on such that the landlord wouldn't want paying residents in it. Sure, 14BC's structure might be serviceable still but between what ungodly bullshit has been left to fester in that house since the rebuild and the rest of the cleanup work on the grounds such as what to do with Mr. C's abandoned dreamshack, a complete refurbishment is not out of the question simply to purge it further. Patti's doghouse is almost 100% going to be scrapped.
In fact, it may not be entirely out of the question that what we're seeing now, with the fans and lights, could be the house being
prepared to be put back on the market since cleaning it out as much as possible will improve the price the realtor might offer. Without a doubt Barb is no longer in control of what's happening at the house and getting rid of it would be a massive problem being taken off the hands of whoever is taking care of Barb, and Chris is just a matter they've washed their hands of entirely.
There is that. But I think the employee turnover rate is large enough at most deliver places that it won't be a problem for long. I mean if you've been a dominoes driver for the full duration of Christory, likely you're too jaded with your life to give a fuck at this point.
I recall some time back Chris ended up making an angry facebook post about how he tried to order pizza from Papa Johns and was told point blank they don't take phone orders for that address anymore, so he 'had to risk his life by getting into his car and driving there' (his words) only to have a three page packet filled with nothing but fake phone orders
specifically for 14BC (all the work of weens of course) shoved in his face as proof.
