Brazil will do as follows: Fumble through their matches against Serbia and Switzerland, eking out short victories at most with them. Steamroll through Cameroon, giving out the illusion the team is a total contender. Pass through Round of 16 without many difficulties, then completely drop the spaghetti against the first decent team they come across. It's been like this since 2006 and don't expect that to change. It's amazing how we always delude ourselves into thinking our NT is this total top contender for the World Cup, just because we buttfucked Bolivia and Venezuela.
The last times Brazil won the Cup, they spent most of the Qualifiers playing wobbly and inconsistently, with a revolving door of players that, for the most part, never firmed themselves at an international level. Hell, for the 2002 campaign, they had three different coaches before settling with Luiz Felipe Scolari, the eventual champion. They had next to no hype and lots of pressure to perform well. Since the aforementioned 2006, the pressure is always diluted with the hype of a "super tactical and talented team" that will totally bring back the trophy to these lands, for sure this time. I could spend ages describing what went wrong in each campaign.
