I watched the first half and sleeped until 103 minutes, then watched it again, then sleep again I only woke up when the narrator screamed, after Colombia first pen loss, then I watched it to the end and fell asleep the night through

It was a clear foul, that resulted in loss of the ball, and in the same, uninterrupted play a goal.

If it was a clear foul, why wasn't it called?

I won't pretend to be a soccer expert, but I've seen a million fouls called this World Cup and the play is stopped when it happens. I've also only seen VAR used to determine offsides or a potential card. I've never seen it used to call a regular foul from 30 seconds and 4 passes ago on the other end of the field, and only after the goal is scored. Are there other examples of this?

So I wouldn't consider that crystal clear. And I'm glad Egypt shit the bed and Argentina won, but to pretend that was a normal usage of VAR and an above board call is silly.
