Funny that you point that out. The debate between Macron and Le Pen was, frankly, more of a kindergarten fight than anything, but 4D chess aside, since we'll also vote soon for the National Assembly deputies, there's a (small) chance that we end up with Macron as president and a far-right parliament after Le Pen lost (if this was a deliberate attempt to look foolish just to make Macaron also look foolish). This will be interesting to watch, to say the least.

Also /pol/ and r/the_donald are going full retard while trying to translate the leaked emails and seeing connections everywhere. French Comet Pizza when ?

Besides the whole paid protester #Resist bullshit spreading to France now, I'm more concerned that some people managed to move so freely on the Eiffel Tower in light of the weekly riots and monthly terror attacks that are happening in France.

im surprised they didnt go with bombing the Eiffel tower, so they surprised me there. on the other hand, that'd just make le pen's support skyrocket...or postpone the election. idk.

They also happen to have the most polluting piles of shit afloat in their tonnage range, they also flush the waste water (i.e. shit tanks) in international waters, and bitch about companies using certain types of fuel in international waters and switching to cleaner more expensive stuff when in waters controlled by a government, while at the same time they burn the cheapest nastiest stuff all the time as they can get away with it due to some funky wording in a few treaties about how the ship is classified and it's age.

They also tend to use ports for outfitting the ship that is OK with breaking international law on child labour laws, and well the law in general because it's cheaper and they maritime authorities of those kinds of countries wouldn't condemn the Hull on safety grounds for a little contribution to the harbour masters bank account, but you know as long as they seem to be doing the right think they can gloss over all of that.

You know what's the funniest shit about the neo-Résistance? They're using the actual Résistance as a lever to push people to 'fight against modern nazis!!!', that somehow because France is a country that always fought back against authority, french kids are entitled to fuck shit up without an end goal.

Never mind that the original Résistance was all about fighting against foreign forces that were occupying France and humiliating the French oops oh no that sounds familiar

I can't wait for the Parliament elections. Sure today Macron will win by a landslide, but what will happen next ? There currently are four political currents with roughly the same strength. How is Macaroni going to govern with that ?
