Macron is already getting some flak due to the party he threw to celebrate instead of something simple like the National Front.

Can't wait for the debate between him and Le Pen. Knowing her, she'll maul him in no time.

Another blow would be if he tries to get the old government working under him. Save for a few of them, people feeling it will be an encore of Hollande might get pissed.

The Centre Right party might get a bit pissy if Macron doesn't even acknowledge some of them too.

Considering their main achievement is keeping the mayor's office of a city of 85000 souls, I think he won't care much.

Pissing off the Socialists and the Republicans, tho, that will happen. Any measure that pleases one will rile the other. Unless he finds a way to force both of them to work together (unlikely), his mandate will be rife with tons of infighting.

I'm pretty sure she'll be back in command if she loses, but who will take the helm will be fun. The most likely choice is her right-hand man Florian Philippot, if she doesn't take him as prime minister.

Also the French have a habit of judging male politicians by their romantic endeavours- The sooner Macron gets rid of that old cougar, the better.
Shame, I know a lot of really nice girls who find him cute.

I'm confident she will move forward against all odds.

Macron is just a puppet, and his party will implode sooner or later. I don't get why people think he's trustworthy.
