It's been like this since 2002 around here. People would rather toss their kids in the nearest river rather than elect Le Pen.
 
I do not think Pen will be allowed to pen in a victory. Either simply by left-winged convergence or a bit of editing, she is going to loose. France's future is with the Quran, as sad as this is. Demographics is inevitable.

If she does win, I'll gladly eat a burrito full of kebab.
 
 
Le Pen succeeded in this round, but the final round may prove to be more difficult. Melencuck has seemingly been defeated, but he still has his supporters, which could provide a big boost to Macron.

It's the last straw... if indeed Melenchon isn't on the second round it will be necessary to organize a Revolution on the streets, a parody of democracy written by the media and the elite. For shame. Resistance !

Also Melenchon is so butthurt over his defeat that he refuses to acknowledge the given results, because maybe when all the votes have been counted he'll miraculously find himself in LePen's place.

That one by the Kebab better start packing his shit. There's gonna be a bunch of angry nationalists out in the streets in coming days if Macron wins and the attacks keep coming.
 
I don't think Le Pen has much of a chance of winning. Especially because of the Frexit stuff. While many, MANY people all across Europe have become very fed up with the EU most are still more worried about the consequences of it collapsing right now in these precarious times than they are of it struggling on for a few more years.

But who knows? The US surprised me with Trump, Brexit surprised me....maybe France will do too.
 
What will be fun in the next months is watching Macron realize that he promised so much to please both the left and right that everybody who supported him will tear themselves apart. Any measure pleasing the left will annoy the right and vice-versa. The National Assembly (lower chamber of the Parliament) elections might give him a surprise.

A Frexit is not really on the table so far. The French wants the EU to change and be less about poor migrants and liberalism (funnily enough, the whole opposite of Macron, who sees cheap foreign labor and profits for big companies about those two).
