The SJWs have lost ! That's all I cared about. Defeated SJWs means industrial level of salt.

Difference that I see is that in 2002 the left "held its noses" and voted Chirac. Now the its who the right will hold its noses and vote for. Will they go center or further right?

Everybody and his grandmother is calling to vote Macron. I'm pretty sure he will be elected, but we won't see an 80% win like Chirac in 2002.
 
Hamon already called his voters to vote for Macron. Listening to him made me sick. Like his only goal is "to defeat the National Front". What a scumbag.
 
General de Gaulle rising from the grave and becoming France's Eternal President is a more likely turn of events than Le Pen winning the second round.
 
I mean yeah it's basically gonna be a vote against Le Pen rather than for Macron.

I think with the toxic past of the FN, its VERY unlikely that shy voters will be enough to swing it in favour of Le Pen. Of course, if she fails the French are stuck with Macron, who has the stench of a Blair-type of politician about him. Very untrustworthy and slippery as a snake.

You can vote that they shut up but you cant vote their sentiments away,

I agree with you that she won't win but the thing is even if the other side does, it's a hollow victory. If anything, not addressing that side will only make them stronger. You can vote down their positions, do everything they don't want you to do, but that's not "winning". They'll come back next time, and there will be more of them. If the "nazis" have enough support that they're showing up in elections again, it's pretty much a smoldering flame, it just needs a little bit of air to really break out. You can try to suppress it but unless you completely choke out the air, it will keep smoldering until the fuel runs out. Where there's smoke, there's fire. At this point, you can't really sweep this shit under the rug and go, "Oh but they're the DINOSAURS. They're on the wrong side of history, clearly. We can outlast them!" The tides of history change every day, bud. It's called history because it's only made when someone puts pen to paper. Anything else is called fortune telling.
 
Problem with this setup is that everyone will just vote for Macron to keep Le Pen out.

Lesser of two evils just like with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. DEJA VU!!!
