Really weird how the Sky commentators both suggest that Hamilton was positioned forward enough to have some right of way over Verstappen, when he impacted Verstappen on his rear tyre with his own front wing. Like, is being on the inside of a corner now the sole defining argument of who gets shafted and who isn't?Looks like Lewis was trying to deliberately run Verstappen to the outside of the road on the exit of the corner but Vestappen wasn't having any of it.
I swear the requirements of being a Sky commentator are sucking Hamilton off at every opportunity.
Oh and now Toto sending Michael emails, wonder how big the number he's offering for Lewis to get away with it is.
As much as I understand the sentiment, I have to say that I don't think any harder penalty would be appropriate. It's not "Michael Schumacher deliberately crashing with his title contender to protect his WDC lead" levels of fuckery. It's a really annoying accident cause once more Lewis got off almost free of damage (and free repairs to what little damage he had) and the penalty is barely enough to be noticable with the amount of power the Mercedes has compared to the rest of the field. It makes such a joke of it all when you can pitch your rival off the road (and send them to hospital) get a slap on the wrist then still come 1st/2nd.
Should most definitely have been harsher. He cause a major accident through his awful judgement. The only way that wouldn't have been an airplane crash is if vestappen had jumped clean off the road. Every title fight he's ever been in he's put his championship rival off through bullshit decision making. The penalty has done absolutely nothing to hurt him.As much as I understand the sentiment, I have to say that I don't think any harder penalty would be appropriate.
