Though the Gulf Arabs are paying a shit ton of money and F1 wants to be seen as global. Id take the Las Vegas, Qatar, Bahrain, off the calendar and have a rotating circus of tracks.
quick we need more usa races in pieces of shit tracks!
I wouldn't mind races in the USA or the Middle East if they had a stake in actually developing drivers. (I'd go to races in Mexico City or Montreal in North America, but not in the US.)

Yes, there is the occasional US driver, and yes, Cadillac is entering F1 as an "American" constructor, with plants in the US (there's a base in the UK, because there's an acknowledgment that you can't not have a base in Europe), but let's see how good their pool is for pulling American drivers for 2027 or later.

Otherwise, it's all just buying their way in and taking influence over a culture that wasn't theirs to start with.

Radio time for each driver for the season.

Sainz loves a good chat on the radio apparently.

I don't know where you'd get previous years (or if they even did them).
If I have a little time today, I might take a look. The one I'm most interested in is Max before he won his first championship and the five years since, if I can find it.

Like, does higher or lower communication correlate with better outcomes? How about Max versus various teammates?

Might be fun to see if Sainz talked more or less last year, but I sense he's a natural chatterbox to start with.

Or across the season how MacLaren comms change. Or even what race there was the most chatter.

I know...the autism strikes at weird times.

Lindblad will use number 41, the troon -ack number. What a bad omen lol.

On that note, I wonder who Red Bull will pin for the talent director role now Helmut Marko is no longer there. I know people bitched about him, but he certainly has an eye for talent as so many of the drivers on the grid he found and even a few went to win races and drivers championships.

wazzup with engine gate? i hope it stays and we get a triple threat betweem max, russell and piastri while those ferrari faggots cry in marinara sauce because now they are too retarded to even cheat. and i hope le grerg signs with aston martin for 2027

Rumors are that Red Bull is going to have an inferior engine and if it's so, we might see Max either switch teams or leave for his current racing love of Sports Cars.

the rumours are that mercedes and rbrpp found a loophole to regain current specs power with the new engine regulations and ferrari is crying like a bitch

If rumors are true then Labubu might be the raped of Ferrari and a miserable end to his career. Though I'll say that Hamilton always tended to mope when it didn't go his way.

My money is him fucking off to do something else. Based on pure observation, I think Max has a not-unjustified attitude problem towards F1 in general. He likes racing. That's all he likes. I would guess that he doesn't like the circus and fluff that F1 demands around the races, and he probably hates the commercialization and politics around F1 that enables that stuff. I don't think any other team would put up with his attitude and would want him to get in line and do all the shit that other teams do.

I can't imagine Toto trying to tell Max he suddenly has to start appearing in commercials for Mercedes, and Max is totally cool with it.

I've said it before - Red Bull is the perfect team for him. It's the team whose branding is expressly "Go hard and give no fucks", while every other team is hell-bent on giving every fuck they're forced to. Which is fine, most of the guys seem fine with the price of admission.

The other factor in this is, I think Max changing teams isn't nearly enough "go hard" for him. He could race for another team, but he's Max Fucking Verstappen. He's not going to switch teams like he was just another one of the drivers on the grid. He wants everyone to know that he dominates racing, no matter the car. He might not have 7 WDCs, but who needs that if he can dominate another racing sport? He's not going to hang out and waste his prime years if he still has the capacity to dominate elsewhere.

Personally, I want that if for no other reason for the chaos Max leaving causes. Between Red Bull having to actually give a shit about rebuilding a team, to all of the blustering from everyone left playing the "now that Max isn't here, it's MY turn" game (Charles and George at least, but we could see low-key campaigns from McLaren).
