I'm not even saying he isn't. But I'm also not going to glaze him over shit he ain't done yet.Max is still young, he has time to collect 4 more titles and his 2023 domination is uncontested.
He's one of the GOATs
WTF am I reading. That McLaren is one of the quickest cars ever made, if it doesn't give the impression of being at the level of peak Mercedes is because Max was there. Max on that McLaren would've sealed the championship long ago.and Max didn't handily beat McLaren when he god damn should have
the name change to Alpine was downright idiotic - they could as well name it Gordini or Frog Munchers F1 Team. Renault tried to make their response to Citroen's DS, their sales are and will be atrocious. Just go back to Renault or sell it to chinks at this point.I don't get it why even Alpine is even on the grid if they aren't being a manufacturer team. I suppose it's profitable but who is going to buy an Alpine car as I associate it with backmarker losers who don't have the excuse of HAAS who didn't have the money the big boys did.
We still talk about Senna's heroics in 1993 still to this day, even against an all-time great such as Prost.I’ve had some time to think about it. I think Norris winning this particular season is real poor for his overall image. Lando’s dad made the absolute tone deaf claim that ‘no one remembers second place’,
Tell that to Yusuf Dikec.‘no one remembers second place’,
To be fair I'm eyeing up an A290 next time my company car is up for renewal. It is within budget and will attract little tax due to being EV.I suppose it's profitable but who is going to buy an Alpine car
Is that one eyed snake finally dead?In other news there are heavy rumours that Marko is out at Red Bull.

hambone has zero track record of driving less than great cars and his dominance took place during the early hybrid era specifically manufactured by and for his own team mercedes where no one could touch them because their car was by far the best, and after rosberg got canned for bottas he also had a steady #2 always willing to cover his ass at any cost. if you want a taste of hamiltons real driving skills in less than perfectly favorable conditions just look at his results this season. stomped by leclerc year round and an embarrassment to his teamNo one is saying he isn't in contention for the greats. Is he the best of all time? Beats me, I'm new to this, but Hamilton brought home 7 WDCs to Max's 4 (whether or not they were controversial does not matter), and Max didn't handily beat McLaren when he god damn should have, and realistically, that should be what people talk about when they talk about Max this year: that he only got off his ass mid-season for the catch-up. Yeah, it's solid, but I wouldn't glaze over someone who acts like he's so fucking above it until whenever he feels like getting out of bed.
He got promoted to head of racing at Red Bull when Jonathan Wheatley left Red Bull in 24. Max wanted to keep him so he stayed doing both roles but given the regulations changes it is likely he wont have time to do the race engineer role any more.I wonder what the situation with GP is.
I think 2022, 2023 and 2009 come the closest to drive shitboxes and his first half in 2009 was a very good indicator. If you look at all F1 champions almost all started at middle or small teams. the exceptions being Farina, Fangio, to an extent Ascari, Villeneuve and Hamilton. Anyway, let's see if he really goes into 2026, the last radio messages with Hamilton at Abu Dhabi made it sound as if the team isn't really including him. And before you blame Adami, he was also the track engineer of Sainz and they always seemed like a good team. Maybe he grew acustomed to a driver who also excelled at strategy while being somewhat entertaining (smoooooooth operator)hambone has zero track record of driving less than great cars
That's the number 1 cope of cultLH, it's all his race engineer's fault. And before you blame Adami
I predicted the most unsatisfying championship outcome, and it happened. Norris beat by 10 million seconds, but managing to make a podium and win the title. Everything went right for him, but it also went wrong. The car quality, his attitude, the team favoritism, the media favoritism, and his title being decided more by what his rivals didn't do rather than what he did do. In the end, Piastri and Verstappen were the better drivers. Lando had luck, papaya rules, and a Talibantonelli divebomb on his side. It won't stop Crofty and Ted from slobbering all over his knob next year, and it won't stop the European crowds from booing him off the podium, because everyone knows it was more about him being lucky than being good. Which is especially ironic considering he was saying that about Max going last to first in Brazil next year.I’ve had some time to think about it. I think Norris winning this particular season is real poor for his overall image. Lando’s dad made the absolute tone deaf claim that ‘no one remembers second place’, well…. Got news for ya. Twenty years from now, when the next generation is reading up on the 2025 season, Norris’ efforts are basically a footnote compared to the drives Piastri and especially Verstappen made. Being a knob seems to run in that family.
Truthfully though, no matter the outcome, McLaren’s favoritism toward Lando was always going to bite him in the ass. The best thing Lando can do is hope and pray that their car remains competitive in the 2026 season.
Just what Alonso said last year. Hambone has never been in a car that wasn't the best on the grid. He got straight up beat by his teammate in that same best car on the grid. As soon as it stopped being the best car on the grid, he started overdriving and getting into hilariously stupid wrecks that someone with his experience shouldn't be getting into. As soon as he went to an outright shitbox with a competitive teammate, he got absolutely thrashed head to head, got knocked out in Q1, and had constant mental breakdowns.hambone has zero track record of driving less than great cars and his dominance took place during the early hybrid era specifically manufactured by and for his own team mercedes where no one could touch them because their car was by far the best, and after rosberg got canned for bottas he also had a steady #2 always willing to cover his ass at any cost. if you want a taste of hamiltons real driving skills in less than perfectly favorable conditions just look at his results this season. stomped by leclerc year round and an embarrassment to his team
