He needs to lose the friendly Ausie part of his character. They seem to have some of the coursest ways of communicating with eachother while also being unable to be cut throat when needs be.
As us Aussies would say, Pastry needs some mongrel in him. Alan Jones was ruthless, hence his title win. Brabham wasn't just a technical genius, he was a hard-nosed racer who took no prisoners.

Whilst it'd completely shatter the Nice Guy Aussie image, Dark Oscar needs to emerge it he wants any hope of winning a WDC in the next couple of years.

he's one of us, watching the race on the screen :)

Though it's been on my mind going through understated F1 drivers and champions, I honestly am abit saddened that Andretti is often forgotten even though outside F1 he was perhaps one of most versatile drivers in his day and a single championship doesn't tell all the stories.

The real question is whether Piastri would even get a seat if he went full Dark Piastri. The other teams are more or less set, so McLaren really has him in a bind, it's very difficult for him to defy Fat Brown
Yup, the big 4 already have thier lineups set in stone for next year. But with the big tech shakeup for 26', expect alot of acrimony from teams that underperfrom and start shuffling personnel. Silly season next year may be quite busy.

Sometimes you might say american F1 champions are often forgotten because Phil Hill is also rather forgotten despite him winning the title with Ferrari in 1961

I'd say Andretti isn't forgotten but he doesn't exactly evoke the image he has in the USA to the outside world. He is remembered as a pretty damn good driver during the era when USA had a golden generation of internationally recognizable talent from Dan Gurney to Mark Donohue to AJ Foyt. Then again, there was a lot of very good drivers in F1 at the time so he kinda gets overlooked compared to guys like Fittipaldi, Stewart, and Lauda.

In my opinion the only one he couldn't get into would be merc as they seem happy with their two. Ferrari would yeet a nog and red bull a frog if Piastri seriously wanted to move.

It's going to be a lot of Max trying to back the McLarens into the pack.

Let's see if Verstappen does the "Back up the pack" tactic from Hamilton 2016. And if he bottles the start on Hardf the tactic goes down the drain

Piastri past but as I said Norris only needs a safe 3rd.

Need a Norris bottle really here.
