Even with that excuse, the car still 5-10kph slower than a Toro Rosso one.

The theory goes that Ferrari build a rain setup for the race and therefor sacrificed the qualifying for that. I find that hsward to believe even though Lecelrc actually started with a higher raised rear wing then hamilton which actually helped him at the start (Leclerc managed to get ahead of Albon and Tsunoda while Hamilton was stuck behind Albon for nearly half the race
Next race will be more revealing as we finally go back to China with it's extreme long straight

Car was still somewhat unsettled and slower even in the fast corners, I think Ferrari kneecapped themselves with the suspension change.

The Yuki Tsunoda ball washing has reached unbearable levels. People are outright calling a guy who nearly became the first foreigner to win Super Formula in his first season talentless.

The Red Bull is not actually as good as it seems to be, and I'm confident Lawson will end up decent in it. For all we know, Yuki might be just as bad as Checo was if he's promoted. Seems like the car just sucks for anyone not named Max Verstappen.

I get being angry about a guy getting passed over for a promotion he logically should have gotten, but he's a historically mediocre driver. Redditors and Twitter tards are unironically saying Yuki would keep up with Max, which is pure insanity.

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle.
Max is a generational talent, and noone currently in F1 is on his level. And I'm not even a fan of him.
But I think Yuki could do great in a midfield team. In a world where Lance Stroll would not drive for daddies team, he'd be a good teammate for Alonso.
But putting him next to Max, nah man, he'd get eaten alive by big red bull.

If Lance fucks off to go lick jam off tennis courts at the same time Alonso retires, then I could easily see Aston Martin signing Tsunoda to partner a big name like Russell or heaven forbid Verstappen. But if Alonso retires for good and the window licker stays where he is, AM is not signing Tsunoda. Daddy Stroll isn't throwing millions around left and right to sign a midfield driver to partner with his failson.

He'll want the best babysitter money can buy.

Whilst this is highly unlikely, the funniest possible post-Alonso outcome for AM would be if Stroll the Elder offers Hambone a dump truck full of money and he decides to take it.

The planets need to line up perfectly though: the 2026 AM car would need to be so good that it puts Alonso back on the podium a few times, and Hambone would need to be about as popular at Maranello as Prost was in 1991.

Which is why it’s insane that cadi isn’t considering Yuki. He’s the perfect driver for them

Even with the increased driver weight minimum /ballast rules Yuki benefits so much from having a low center of gravity he should have a big advantage of his teammates. Something that doesn't get talked about enough. Prost vs Senna. Mansell refusing to starve himself. Etc.

Eddie Jordan was a real one. He gave the chance for so many young drivers to become superstars, including Michael Schumacher who ended up becoming the legend he became down the road. He will be dearly missed.

What is he talking about everyone know how Max is when he gets angry on radio. This is such a weird deflection to insult Verstappen when someone brings up the minor troubles you had with you race engineer.
