Found it humorous they censored all the Marlboro branding on this iconic model Ferrari. ($10,495! 😱)

Bit of an anticlimactic end to the season but but all in I enjoyed this year on a whole. The cars do seem to race better, let's hope the gap between top 3 and rest tightens up. Still early days with this car and the budget cap so see what the situation is end of next year.

As for our F1 competition, 2 races ago I knew I was lost on getting 3rd in the standings and went in to today hoping to hold on to 4th but see that didn't work out and I have to settle for Top 5 this year. But out of 57 teams I will take that I guess. Congrats to this year's Kiwi Champion "sheesh", who from the looks of it used the MEGA option and came in first in AD race and thus overtook 2nd to win the title in final round. I also see that the "insane team" who beat me out for 4th was owned by same KFer, and also used MEGA (Leclerc again) which also knocked me out of 4th! So, both teams in top 4 out of 57 with a place gained by both entries in the final race is an excellent result! 2nd and 3rd in the standings, "Tanto vinco io" & "Maluku F1 Engineering", respectively were pretty close. Then a fair sized gap to 4th place. So, top 3 all had great seasons. I am sure we will do it again in '23.

Haas team radio: "Mick I swear to fucking god if you keep doing donuts and cause another crash bill I will come and murder your family."

Haas Twitter admin: Omg look at him doing donuts we absolutely loved that!!! Don't you love to see it too?

Synchronized spin!!
It was a beautiful moment. Great send off for those two, I'll miss them.
Looks like Lewis' car is fucked, right after he passed the pit entrance too. Now Seb'll get points.
LOL why do I get the feeling he fucked up his car pressing all the buttons on the steering wheel trying to fix his supposed power problem?

Not a bad race for McLaren, fastest lap for Norris was a nice little bonus. His race end radio message was great, him saying they didn't have the fastest car but they were working hard, then his race engineer tells him he got the fastest lap and he replies "we got the fastest car!" lol But they are well behind the big three.

Shame that Alonso couldn't finish and join Seb at the end. As much as I like to shit on Blowis, it must be tough for him and Alonso to see all the guys from their time leaving, only them staying behind but also knowing their time's coming fast.

Hass not even giving Mick a farewell, meanwhile Williams is giving Latifi a signed part of a car he crashed. feels bad man : (

And Ross Brawn apparently retiring from his role, although stating he intends to watch F1 from his couch. But that would be something if he goes back to Fer, Unlikely of course, but now with MB gone....
Rumor a few weeks ago was they would bring in Vasseur from Sauber since he has a good relationship with Charles.

Ever since MBs tender began I was skeptical of having someone be both Team Principle and Technical director.

Vasseur joining Ferrari was a rumour before the Binotto resignation rumours came out. But it's usually good practice to not put too much into random reports from Italian news regarding Ferrari, you end up with all sorts of funny bullshit. While I definitely don't think Brawn will be rejoining Ferrari, it's a fun thing to think about.

Then again, Vasseur moving over may signal that whatever political struggle may be happening inside Ferrari at the moment, Chuck could well be winning it, I can't imagine he has anything close to a pleasant relationship with Binotto at this stage.

If anything, Ferrari's issue is that they have a high-pressure revolving door at the top. There's no room for fucking up once and more media pressure than in any other job in the whole paddock. Horner's been in the same job for well over a decade, Toto's been around since 2014. Meanwhile, Ferrari keeps changing it's leaders and expecting a silver bullet to come out of that poisoned chalice of a job.

Court confirms Williams awarded £26 million after case against former sponsor

Williams have been awarded a payout of more than £26 million after former title sponsors ROKiT were found to have not paid the money owed to them as part of their deal.
The venture capital conglomerate began a title partnership deal with Williams in the 2019 season, before announcing a two-year extension in July of that year to take them through to the 2023 season.

But despite the logo having appeared on the team’s cars in pre-season testing in 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic hit and the curtailing of the Formula 1 schedule saw ROKiT renege on their sponsorship of the team, with then-deputy team principal Claire Williams explaining that the team would re-appear in 2020 without the ROKiT logo on their cars and all ties had been severed with the company, despite having “met all of our contractual obligations” with them.

A lengthy legal process then followed between the team and their former sponsor, with Williams having initially won an arbitration case a federal court hearing in the United States back in January for the £26m figure stated, based on missed payments to the team from ROKiT as part of their sponsorship agreement.

But with this, Williams recently sought a Petition to Confirm Foreign Arbitral Award at the end of November – to gain full written confirmation of the ruling in their favour.

Their case was then presented to the United States District Court, Central District of California on Thursday 1st December, when Judge Christina Snyder confirmed her final judgment in Williams’ favour in this action.

The final ruling provided written confirmation that the team are owed £26,220,094.25 by ROKiT, along with a further $1million (£813,000) bonus payment, as well as legal costs incurred.

Williams dropped to the bottom of the Constructors’ Championship in the 2022 season, with eight points scored across the year between Alex Albon, Nicholas Latifi and Nyck de Vries.

This could help them out a bit since they were basically living on Latifi's Lavazza and Sofina sponsor money, and since Latifi left they needed that cash more than ever.

Speaking of sponsors I wonder how the MoneyGram Haas is going to look like. I'm not fully expecting a fully red on white like this year, which was haphazardly made to cover up the Russian flag colors, but it could happen because the MoneyGram logo is red.
