Some people get a corner named after them, Vettel gets a whole grove.

Personally, I think it's a sign of one of the all time greats. A whole year out of F1 after a disgraceful exit, and it's like he never left.

Gio can still hopelessly smash a car into the barrier with the very best of them.

It's actually pretty funny seeing him here at all, since apparently Haas are still stuck between Mick and Nico. Maybe they wanted to see just how difficult the 'upgraded' car is to handle?

Just read that the new front wing that Mercedes brought for Austin seemed to have been deemed illegal. That is one way to throw money out of the window. Though apparently in the 2022 rules it is a grey area and it will be banned in 2023.
So they made an update to test for 2023 and already a part of it is basically useless.

On the other hand Leclerc gets a new engine which is basically a 2023 spec engine which tunrs the power back to what it was at the start of the season but with FIA santioned reliability upgrades. I am curious if Ferrari will be the fastest on the straights this time around. One can hope

What they actually should do is give the seat to Drugovich or Shwarzman.

Apparently Williams confirmed they will hire Logan Sargeant as driver for next year. It's not official though so keep that in mind.

Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz has died. Announced like 5 minutes ago. Just what they need before getting into qualifying.

Sky F1 spending ages wanking off about muh blacks in indy car then Danica talking about the utter joke that is W series.

I caught a headline about DM about a week or two ago that seemed to call in to question his health. Now we know! Wonder if whoever ends up "owning" the team (RB Board of Directors?) does anything that may affect the F1 teams in some form?

Also, must say on Giovanazzi, either his mom (or himself) is polishing someone's knob at Ferrari or he has an uncle Guido who breaks knees got a living. I rate him lower than Latifi and that is saying something. What a tool, he needs to just go away from motorsports.

Ugh, crowd shots at most GPs are annoying but screeching American thots are the worst thing in existence.

I could never understand how he managed to stay as long as he did. If he makes it back then there is most definitely some reason behing it.

And we're back. A lot has happened in F1 world since the poor oppressed trannys got another major organisation to cuck to them.

Audi are buying Sauber for '26 so no much Alfa.

Russell took out pole in some amature display of trying to brake into the first corner, coning away with just a 5 second penalty.

Hamilton almost lucked into that win but couldn't keep up the pace then cried constantly about muh track limits.

The stewards tried to pretend they don't keep only fucking over KMag by screwing Alonso, subsequently that was overturned and got the just reward for Alonso's heroic US GP.

Stroll showed the world exactly why last second moves aren't OK, followed by Hamilton trying to do the same to Max in the braking zone.

Red Bull have agreed to a $7 million fine and 10% wind tunnel reduction for the $2.2 million overspend (that only would have been $400k if HMRC didn't fuck up).

Merc showed up to Mexico fast but ultimately couldn't compete with super Max in qualifying. The ferrari both bottled their final run so should be faster today. Hopefully a Perez win can still happen.

The responses to Mateschitz and the RB situation on horrific social media have been a trip. Some drivers I respect(ed?) were all about "OMG CHEEEEAT".

Another wacko was saying "Poor Dieter, he wanted to sell the team to Porsche to maintain his legacy(!?!?!?!) but Cheating Horner blocked it." like wut.

Oh yeah because the manager can block the owner selling a business. Plus they were never selling the team to Porsche in the first place.

Interesting mix of starting tyres.

Good to be back, and just in time for the race too.

As much as I'd love for Checo to bring it home today, I just don't think it's possible. I'll be happy to be proven wrong though.
