Pardon me for my American exceptionalism but it seems really perverse to me that the way you expand into my home market after building a Tilkedrome is a brand new street course and the return of the Parking Lot Grand Prix. America has dozens of historic and beloved circuits (Watkins Glen, Laguna Seca, Elkhart Lake, etc.) and this is what we get for it? Even if you must have a street course, there are places out there like Long Beach that have been doing it forever and seem like appropriate candidates for it. Instead we get treated the same way as Middle Eastern oil sheikhdoms with billions to burn.
