Haas looking like they will be missing a day of testing

Apparently Mercedes is coming out with some crazy innovation in the sidepod areas.

If these new regulations make designs like this viable, where there is virtually no sidepod, that'd be fucking amazing tbh.

I always liked how in the early days of F1, you'd see some really far-out approaches like the one Lotus with 6 wheels and I always mourned that we won't see anything like it in modern F1. Something, where the designer just made a design so unlike others, that it goes down in history.

Uralkali want a refund from Haas (not an unreasonable request since they aren't going to get what they paid for)

I wonder if this will be the deathblow for Haas. Gene wouldn't have been sucking that Rusky cock if he wasn't desperate and given Haas' fun with Ritch Energy their bank balance cannot be looking healthy.

On the one hand seeing Haas go under for virtue signalling and the associated reddit reeing would be just wonderful, on the other I don't want Schumacher out of a seat and want to see more Steiner interviews.

I love the "we compete as one" foundation, it's a direct fuck you to bitchmade Hamilton and the FIA's faggy "we need more darkies" nonsense.

A quick, perhaps wrong and dumb thought, but what if he took the commie bucks cause he wanted to corner the market in Russia for his main business? Perhaps he thought he could sell his stuff over there and make a mint or something.

I mean even pre-war, it would be weird to link up with a driver with Russian backed money. Surely he could have gotten something else. But I guess since it was a father's money, he made an offer no one could match so his son could prove how talentless he was on a global scale? Who knows.

I think if Haas doesn't survive, Andretti would not hesitate to buy the team. We shall see I guess.

If I were Gene Haas, I'd be trying to work something out with Michael Andretti. As per my last post on the Andrettis, it wouldn't be the first time they've become part owners of a racing team.

Yep... which is why Haas needs to act now. If they don't and the team collapses, Andretti will no doubt swoop in and pick up the remains for pennies in the dollar. Getting Andretti in as a shareholder now would be a win for both parties: it'd save Haas and it'd get Andretti locked into F1 well before the 2024 season.

Guess who's back, back again
Kevin's back, tell a friend
Guess who's back, guess who's back,
Guess who's back. Guess who's back?

Lets go fokk smash!

Y2Mate.is - Guenther goes off on Magnussen and Grosjean. Mag smashes his office door..mp4
I was hoping Hulk would be Mazepin's replacement, but K-Mag is the next best thing. For some reason I'm seeing K-Mag telling the Ruskies to suck his balls.

Remember guys, testing is tomorrow and we should be able to watch this time. I will be in bed when it starts but will be seeking out a stream as soon as I rise.
Speaking of the drivers uniting for Ukraine, here is a pic that was on Racefans site:
racefansdotnet-21-03-09-17-10-42-2.jpg
Notice who isn't in the pic. Every driver is (save for Mag) but the goofball.

This pic just sums up to me how much of an ass Lewis is. And how much the drivers could care less about him. I am glad they took this pic as it really (if you look between the lines) evidences how much of a pariah/primadonna Hamilton is. Like why is he not in that photo? Did/will any of the pundits or other media note that and make a comment on why Lewis wasn't in the pic?

I am sure there is some BS reason that will be trotted out, but come on...EVERY other driver was there! Its such a shame that he just happened to be the driver to luck in to dominance and become King Shit. Imagine if it was Ricci or Sainz or some other similar personable driver that won all those titles over the last half decade.

tl;dr-Lewis is dumb and makes it quite easy to dislike him.
EDIT-The "excuse": Lewis Hamilton was the only race driver not present as his flight to the country was delayed.

Ok. So then the question becomes why are all the drivers there well in advance of the start of testing, yet bozo isn't? Like what the fuck was so important that he couldn't come early? Like he could have done a private flight with a few of the drivers (I have seen plenty of pics of more than 2 drivers on a private jet together). Lewis could shoot the shit with them while having a few cocktails on the flight to Bahrain. Oh wait.

And LOL actually another thought. Like this is Lewis Hamilton! The guy could buy an airline and a fleet of aircraft. Yet how odd, "his" flight was delayed. Like seriously? Was he flying on a commercial flight or something? Somehow I highly doubt he travels with the peons in a crammed 747.

Lewis is just strange man.

Mercedes’ radical new ‘sidepod-less’ W13 design appears ahead of final test
2022 F1 seasonPosted on
10th March 2022, 6:25 | Written by Keith Collantine

Mercedes have revealed a radical new development on their W13 ahead of the second pre-season test in Bahrain.

The team’s W13 appeared in the paddock at Bahrain International Circuit featuring revised, much slimmer sidepods.
Reports of a ‘sidepod-less’ W13 first emerged in Italian newspaper Corriere della Serra, which is believed to have been alerted to the design by one of Mercedes’ rivals.

The new car features tall, narrow cooling inlets in place of the square air intakes which appeared on the previous design.

Ok. So then the question becomes why are all the drivers there well in advance of the start of testing, yet bozo isn't?
Because the other drivers will be doing work with their mechanics to suggest adjustments, work out programmes etc. Lewlew famously does not partake in any of that shit, he's too busy with his clothing line or trying to buy his way into the inner circle of black American celebrity.

Don't forget prior to mid 21 he admitted to not having been I'm I'm simulator in about 5 years (then had to get in because Max was wrecking him). So many were like "whoa he's so amazing he doesn't even need to practise" without realising sim work is as much about car development as it is driver training.

Well, you have to understand, in London there was a line of coke on a male stripper's ass with Lewis' name on it, that simply demanded his undivided attention.

But as @Coccxys said, if there is no easy pole position or podium finish to grab, King Louie ain't interested in wasting his time on boring stuff like preparing himself for the test drive (that he also loathes). He prefers to leave such lowly mundane drudgeries for the plebeians that serve underneath him. It's a key aspect why I don't consider him a good driver. He's unable and unwilling to give profound feedback on the very object that his entire career relies upon. He also does not properly prepare himself for his work, which is just shoddy work ethics. He only puts as little effort into his work as necessary and leaves the "boring" bits to his teammates. I am dead fucking certain, without Bottas doing the legwork, Lewis would have had much rougher seasons the past few years.
Lewis merely shows up for the practice sessions before a race, gets some numbers dialed in based on work done by others and then the team fine-tunes it until he can leisurely drive ahead of the field. His best input during race: "My tyres are gone" and "I don't want to pit now [3 laps later] why did you not call me in to pit yet?".

Once his time as an active driver is over, he'll have no useful input for his team. Not on technical aspects, not on strategic aspects, not on inter-personal/team-management aspects. Nothing.
If he becomes an advisor for Mercedes after his driving days, his input will boil down to "hire more black people."

And that is why he's not presently in Bahrain, cause the boring drivey bits that he is absolutely obligated to do are not due until later. Isn't it also said that Lewis never mingles with other drivers?

I guess we'll get some display of a similar message by Lewis sooner or later anyway, it's not like he's not going to remain silent on the issue. His absence from that image above isn't so much an indication of Lewis not giving a shit about current political events (that don't feature the plight of the black man) like the Ukraine war, it's more of an indication towards how seperated he is from the other drivers. He's just too good to waste his precious time doing boring busywork when he could be enjoying the life of a black superstar at home.

Then again, maybe he'll come forward with the whole "You white people didn't care when it was about non-whites being bombed during the war in Syria/Afghanistan/Iraq"-shtick, which wouldn't just be evidently wrong but also in poor taste.
