The thing with "sheeplings" never fails to make me laugh.
One mayor symptom of conspiracists is to fell "enlighted", which is basically just a minor form of narcissisism. That "sheepling"-attitude translated:
"I am better than all of you, because I know what' s up. You are all just imbeciles, because you have not understood yet! You are all dumb unless you agree with me!"

But it' s just so dumb, no one but them takes them seriously.
 
This is one of only two conspiracy theories that I refuse to even acknowledge or debate (the other being Holocaust deniers)

It's just, yeah, I'm willing to listen to conspiracy theories to see what kind of interesting thoughts people could have on them, but....

......the Earth is round. End of story.

so I know a youtuber that isn't a flat-earther or an "inverted"-earther but a geocentrist that doesn't believe that the earth revolves at all. I searched his username here and didn't find anything. his name is LoneStar1776. basically he is an ultra-fundamentalist christian that believes that all things revolve around the earth
the earth's equator is a jewish lie
and that his TRUTH and HONESTY is being suppressed

the majority of his channel now is commentary on legal actions and such taken upon people he agrees with.

another one I've watched and enjoyed is Lord Steven Christ.

He is an Obama birther nutjob as well, and has been visited by the Secret Service for threats.

 
One thing these people NEVER explain is what possible profit or benefit there is for any government, organisation or group in this? The sheer expense and logistics behind perpetuating such a deception would be mind boggling. I mean we live in an age where anybody with a go-pro and a weather balloon can take pictures of the curvature of the Earth, is NASA intercepting these things and putting fake images into the SD cards on the fuckin' way down?

Let's assume for a minute they're right. Who has to be 'in' on it:
The Several thousand people who work at NASA plus anybody who's ever worked there in the past,
Every pilot ever,
Every climate scientist,
The ESA,
Roskosmos,
JSA,
Whatever China's space program is called,
Fuckin' North Korea,
All the other shitty little space agencies.
Elon Musk particularly.
Various other small agencies and scientific endevours.
Thousands of civilian scientists.

So where do these people stand to gain? Do they all have shares in the globe industry?

The only reason I've heard of is that the globe was conceived to somehow discredit the bible cause it says the Earth is flat. Then again, those people are also biblical literalists so that makes sense to them

Anyone who has ever flown in a plane knows you can literally see the curvature of the Earth.

These people are just insane morons who should kill themselves to raise the average IQ of humanity several points.

i actually forgot to mention this live feed. if you look in the info for the video, the "show more" button, you'll see a disclaimer for flat-earthers as well as, at the very bottom, a statement about one specific person using multiple accounts to spam flat-earth rhetoric.

The Old Testament actually talks about the Earth being a sphere that is suspended in space.
This is shit that I knew from when I was a kid.

The only way I can think of that happening is if you take the phrase "from the four corners of the Earth" (which pretty much everyone agrees refers to the four corners you get if you have a map. So this means that you get it from everywhere on the map) 100% literal.

Flat Earthers have to be among the dumbest conspiratards around. Their entire platform is built on denying pretty much every scientific advance within the past 300 years, as well as assuming everyone who was ever affected by the round Earth is in on the conspiracy. That would include engineers, everyone in or associated with NASA, all pilots, everyone who has been to the Artic/Antarctic, anyone who operates weather balloons or satellites, and that's not even close to a complete list.

By far the dumbest part is that they can't even agree with each other on measurements or even structure for a flat Earth, the only universal concept seems to be a disk shaped Earth ringed by Antarctica, after that, it's a free for all of sperging and failed math.

tl;dr Flat Earthers have severe :autism:
