With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

It's a bit of that and a bit of wigger irony, I think their bigger goal is to just get noticed by Thiel & co (currently funding Clav/Red Scare etc) or Eddie and get a blank cheque for their projects the same way most Kick streamers are astroturfed. I don't think they're strapped for cash but their margins definitely aren't big enough for what they want to do.

She wanted to go hang with the Looksmaxers and do Kick thot streams, Jet basically said it's one or the other and she can't crash with them and use their resources if her goal was to just do her own thing.

Letty is a cringe, clout chasing swut, but I have to side with her on this one. I don’t get why Jet got so butthurt about her wanting to stay behind and do her own stream for a while. Are he and Ben really incapable of taking care of two drunk people for one night? Get them some water and put them to bed; it’s really not that difficult. When they got back, all he did was chill in the hot tub. What did he need Letty there for exactly? And they shut everything down after like half an hour, so it’s not like she would have been bailing on their stream content either.

He argued that they have two weeks of this and there will still be plenty of time for her to do her own thing. But there’s also plenty of time for him to do his hot tub titty streams or whatever. Letty might not get another chance to stream with Clav. And as cringe as it is, that’s a big opportunity for her. He’s one of the most popular live streamers in the world at the moment, and it could bring her a lot of exposure. Jet is being a baby.

I don't blame Jet for taking issue with Letty trying to ditch last night, but the answer wasn't to kick her the next day, they should have just laid out what he expects from her, what she expects and see if they can make it work. The decision to kick her strikes me as a druggie who spent the whole night replaying and overthinking the situation in his head till he convinced himself to act rashly and now that he got that release he regrets it.

I don't but you can basically catch the long and short of it by going to their kick channel, play the vod, and then find the point where Letty leaves, back up a few minutes and there it is.
The TLDR is that Ben and Jet want her to stick with them since they are covering all expenses during the Miami trip, and Letty would've liked some cash or perhaps more exposure since she isn't getting paid. They agree that the terms before they went where vague and that if it makes more sense for her to go chase after these other streamers, then she should do that instead.
Both sides had some additional fair arguments and Letty then leaves and fucks off.

The fun kicker is that Ben and Jet shortly after this point starts laughing about how they're gonna have to pay Bliccy to join them, and that they are willing to do so. "You'll get paid...not a lot, but more than Letty". Kinda funny, but also bittersweet in an sense that they couldn't just make a deal with Letty. Mixing business with friendships can be a real can of worms.
 
Caught some of the stream. Can't blame Jet for being annoyed at having to tard wrangle and be designated driver. I can see why he'd be pissed that Letty wasn't being observant enough to realize they had two autists that were potentially dangerous levels of shitfaced. Kevin took 7 shots, or so he claimed, inside of 5 minutes and said it was his "first time drinking." Was it a bit? IDK. And Angie looked like she got roofied at some points after they left. Letty staying late and having to take care of Angie would've likely been a massive pain in the ass, not worth the 'content' she may have gotten staying late.

On the other hand, she should be allowed to fire her stream up on Kick while they have theirs up, and cross promote, get multiple angles, work that into the site so one of the cams is a Letty cam, then they have two streams going at once from different perspectives on Kick, and everything is linked into the homebase so it isn't just a competing stream. She just didn't articulate it the best. But if you see two of your Crazy Gang black out drunk, it's just a piss poor decision to keep them out until 5 AM. Was she gonna pay for her own uber back to the AirBnb? Just seems like more risk than reward.

Good chance it's just that since they are beholden to a platform IRL just sort of returns to a median of "get mad drunk and talk to people" - which is peak kick content - and wiggers are leaning into it for a bit that didn't land well because it was too on the nose.
I don't really think they're trying to get super tapped in with the Kick crowd, but they wouldn't turn down the money. I hope Jet isn't dumb enough to sign an exclusivity deal, especially since Kick has serious issues with demonetizing too

Letty is 100% trying to actually tap in with them, you can tell because they always refer to it as a "job" - which is whatever, her options in life were like Fishtank Groupie, Hooker, Discord Girl, or Grifting so I don't blame her for going with the least fucked option.

I'm ambivalent to mints outside of him getting hammered every few days and ranting about he wants to name his son George Lincoln Rockwell and ban all gays, which was good filler while fish slept.

To be a woman's voice reinforcing the denial of any potential sexual assault allegations brought by the blacked-out girl.

Even if Ben & Jet still did the hands on drunktard wrangling, if Angie wakes up in different clothes because she expelled various bodily fluids onto herself, she'll probably assume Letty changed her and put her to bed, not the creepy dudes, and be less immediately freaked out about it.
