With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I've been here since season 1 and loved season 3. Burt's sex addiction and nonstop talking about gay shit did get very grating near the end of the show but I still had a really great time watching it.
 
Something sounds off about Jet's voice in that call. My first impression was that it sounded like an impersonator (ridiculous I know). A fishtank twitter guy is trying to show proof that it's AI generated which I'm not convinced of but I'll share here anyway. While the most plausible scenario is that it's Jet, it just does not sound like him. I do hope I'm wrong though.

After having looked at his history, former attempts at "acting" and his personas like "Jim O'Hara" I'm positive he's not acting he's truly just an unhinged sperg, and up until perhaps the road trip he was utterly clueless.

It's Fishtank lol. The viewer base from s1 and 2 were dying laughing at Burt's shenanigans and were thankful the wiggers discovered a genuine eccentric. "DUDE wipes, MANscapped, MR. beast, HIMS. What the HELL is going on here!?"

It's not like the s1 and 2 viewer base wanted fish like Brian or TJ again, s3 was way better than s2. I'd believe that a large portion of the s1 and s2 audience didn't watch s3 based on Fatty's obnoxious and disgusting faggotry.
 
Do you guys think that they would've given Burt the 50k if the scam businesses didn't come up the night before?

He's why I tuned out on most of the end of S1, almost skipped S2 in its entirety(also all the smoking, yuck) and didn't even bother with S3 except for checking in here from time to time.

Nah, it was clear Sam hated Burt and he didn't do himself favours saying he was just going to hand it out to everyone. He even managed to fuck up the Gold Burt ending by not being able to follow instructions which probably put the nail in it.

If anyone else was making these claims I'd believe it because it's completely on-brand for Jet to do this, but Empathchan is as deranged as Channing and isn't remotely trustworthy.

For the same reason the America First people around Jon keep egging him on, they like the drama and attention. For the record I'm not saying you're right or wrong though, I have no idea if it's AI. I'm just saying nobody who is currently around Jon is a trustworthy person.

im an S1 and S2 fan who didnt reallly watch S3, but none of my reasons had anything to do with burt.

I've had it on my bucket list for a long time, but I'm working on other projects atm and am unlikely to pick up Remilia as a topic for a while.

I do know that they're adjacent to the BAPsphere - would you be interested in taking the lead on it? I could probably help out with the research and stuff, but I would not be able to actually write it myself any time soon, lol

I was basically glued to season 1 but didn't really watch much of season 2 because it's the holiday season and the contestants were all cringy faggots, I tuned in way more during season 3.
