Remember how during the show Burt was schizo and questioning the show no matter how many times it was explained to him? Turns out he came in knowing that it was livestreamed 24/7 but apparently forgot, according to his latest livestream he said it was because he was so hyper focused on the no sex for 42 days that he forgot everything else :story:

We already had his public post before coming on the show confirming that he knew those things but now we have that explanation, in addition to this screenshot of a message he sent to his sister and some Reddit comments:

    Here’s a text I apparently sent my sister Vanessa just two days before going on FishTank.
    Apparently, whoever hired me did tell me about the 24/7 recording and the day rate; clear as day.
    But to be honest, by the time I actually arrived at the mansion, I had completely forgotten all of this. And since I didn’t have my phone the entire time, I couldn’t even remind myself.
    I’m seriously questioning how the f**k I could forget such important details that could’ve helped me understand the show from Day 1?
    Maybe I am regarded…?

    This entire time, I genuinely believed whoever hired me purposely concealed the true nature of the show and tricked me into it under false pretenses.

    But nope… right here in my own words, I spelled out the 24/7 recorded live stream, the strict confidentiality, and even the day rate. They actually told me the important details… and I just completely forgot.

    Now I’m sitting here seriously questioning my memory. How did I forget something this crucial?

    It’s like a fucking plot twist I unwittingly created for myself.

Burt didn't deserve the 50,000. Sorry to say that, maybe he should have been given it, but if there was someone who was completely and irredeemably undeserving of it, it was Burt.

He never did a single challenge right, he was incapable of doing anything except be the butt of the IP2-audience's joke. There was no end to his travel down degeneracy on the show.

Fishtank S3 was the gayest it's ever been, and to be quite honest with you, I think it should end on season 3 and leave it at that. They are not good at planning things out the way they wanted for season three, because they do not have contingencies.

The issue has always been people who do cover Kaliacc are either glup shitto tier or present it in such an unrealistic way people think it's bullshit and don't care. r9k cult shit from 2015 onwards really had the benefit of being so lowkey that there aren't that many footprints of it.

There was a period like 15 years ago before /r9k/ became "I'm a sad faggot let me tell you in gross detail about how much of a sad faggot I am. PS I hate women" where it was mostly just a storytelling board where people would write green text stories where it was decent.

I think it's kind of funny. He's completely unapologetic and doubles down on a pretty serious accusation that would make most content creators shrivel up and beg for forgiveness. You can tell he's spent a lot of time observing Sam and you have to wonder if this technique has worked out for Jet before. I would bet money that it has.

I don't like it. I don't think he did a good job with it, but I give him credit for running with it and not apologizing.

Fishtank is not about the challenges. It's about who is the most entertaining fish. Burt understood the mission and played his character better than any of the other fish we've seen so far.

One of the most wrong takes I think I've ever read in this thread in the 2+ years this show has been going on. Sam literally said to Burt's face near the end of the season in the RV season 3 would have been "dead in the water" (his words not mine) without him. When you're almost single handedly carrying a season you earned the prize money.

I mean, I'm glad you think so. Plenty of people here agree with that. I don't, and I think season 4 will be very hard to pull off. A large amount of the viewer base from s1 and s2 probably didn't watch s3 based on Burt's disturbing and disgusting faggotry.

I wish the Jim O'Hara thing had been discovered sooner, because that'd have resulted in great content, that said!
