With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

i would like to see them not bring in josie, the josie simps chimping out would be hilarious. probably not the best business decision by the wiggers, but would be funny. though they could make a fishtoy out of it, pay 10,000 to bring josie onto the show. im sure they could get that.

though i feel betty is probably the same liability as summer. no way that crazy hoe betty wont cause some problems. would be funny to see her and letty together again, but i doubt it.

though, even without betty id still like to see letty back on the show in some capacity.
 
based on the word through the grapevine Jimmy might be back for it, somehow. if it's a cast of total ignorants I can see him showing up to talk about the Jews and absolutely terrifying the fish about what kind of show they are on

there's certain gags they can re use that might hit better on ignorant people, like Chip or Kominos. a very naive person would instantly believe Chip is homeless. I think it wouldn't be so bad to reuse them because the reactions would be much stronger

Vance is probably gonna be production again
 
Hard reset would involve all new gags and bits and characters, which would be mostly cool but we aren't getting that I guess. So more like a soft reset. A wet fart reset even.

I expect Fatty, Frank, Chip, Stein in S3 for sure then. I think Brian, Vance, and Trish are realistic returns for production-side, Jet has basically said as much. Surely a few of the 2.5 production are sticking around for 3.

e: Betty won't be back, iirc she threw a major fit after Sam and Jet unfollowed then blocked her on Twitter. Didn't she also "leak" the whippit enjoyment and Tax hooking up with Letty? With all the desperation they had trying to get women on during 2 and 2.5, notice she wasn't there or even mentioned despite supposedly living in the region.

When Jon was leaving the show Sam asked him if he’d come back for S3 and Jon asked if they’d have him back

And Sam said something about how he’s great content

So probably Jon if he decides fish tank isn’t too gay
 
One of the shittiest parts of Jimmy is how he tries to one-up any argument by throwing out blackmail on people. He tried it on Vance, he tried it on letty, he even tried on Fatty. Normally I'd say I never want to see him on fishtank again, but if it's a new group of people who he knows nothing about, I think it'd be funny. Watching a relatively 'normal' new cast of fish try to defuse a 'wrathful, sober' jimmy would be peak. Just don't let him have a phone or he'll start trying to whisper to people that he knows where their family lives so they leave the show.

I doubt Jon comes back. He's since signed up for that Hunger Games thing that Jet is convinced is a ripoff of Fishtank.

Think she said her stalker stuff is settled and also that before going into this season she was worried about whether or not she would still be good on the show or not.
I thought she was really good and also that like.. she doesn't need to be evil or whatever. She's entertaining when just fucking around having fun and playing the game.
Don't think she needs to be a main character or w/e going forward, but I'm glad she's back in the fold.
Also since people were talking about her being a writer or w/e for WP2 I'm sure they'll figure it out and she'll be around.

But for like a new fishtank season, I'd want to just see new people.
I don't really think it's that important whether or not they know about fishtank.
It's probably better to get people that don't know but idk if it needs to be a rule.

Like love or hate jimmy, he' can be an interesting character and if there's a 'no fans' rule maybe you don't get that?
Or maybe you can, you just need to find unhinged and crazy non-fans.

edit just to say: i'm personally kinda done with jimmy, jon and tayleigh as well.
and obviously other ppl like mauro or w/e.
Maybe I'll feel different later but I'm all jimmy'd out atm.
Tayleigh was a nothingburger and jontent is kind of played out.
I think that's why it's important to get new fish.
It's like sports, there's roster turnover you're always drafting people and moving on from others.

Betty's never coming back. The second she was off the show she went to Discord and shit talked every member of production because she's mentally unstable and vindictive. Jet wants nothing to do with her. Remember they kicked her off season 1.

agreed with everything, but id still like to see jimmy in S3. not the main character, but him showing up occasionally as some character to mess with he fish would be fun.
 
Some small lore from the IG live Trish just did: apparently Brian arrived on set at the last minute and was given the deputy role because production didn’t know what to do with him (according to Trish at least). guess that moment of quick thinking paid off.
