With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I remember listening to a few Twitter Space clips and the people interviewing the fish constantly had to get corrected by the fish. It's Sly Elliot tier clout chasing.

You can be likeable and drive content, aka Jon before he got kicked off s1. Like I said, going from annoying performative racist to fake evil bitch doesnt get people on your side.
NOW relating it to the final 3: not a single one really did much outside of the final week. They had stand out moments mostly because we only had 4 contestants for 2 weeks lol. Ive already said it, but we have a literal NPC, a bisexual sex deviant, and evil soijack 1488. I dont like any of these people lol. At this point i just want the person who has gone the hardest in the swamp Olympics to win, which has been TJ. They all stink.

edit and you cant compare tay to letty, its apples to oranges. Letty had a playful flirty attitude, Tayliegh is standoffish and hostile.

She was likable in that she made stuff happen and didn't just sit around, sleep or have to be advised constantly to do stuff as often as the others. Likability is also relative to the audience, not the contestants, their opinions don't matter. I certainly don't feel bad for her or anyone, that's generally a mistake, it just seems odd.
 
Shinji just told TJ that he can understand 80% of what everyone is saying except for Chris. He can't understand anything Chris says at all.

TJmaxxers and Tayjeets have solidified themselves as the unhinged groups this season.

Yes, and this was set up by production. So, in the future, it's better to sit back and try to be likable. Then focus on beasting the final day. Driving content is pointless and has never lead to a win. And won't today.

I don't really care much about the final three mostly because I feel like production interfered so much this season, there was never a point where it felt like challenges mattered and it felt like production chose a couple fish at the start and has been helping them the entire time to make sure the ones they want are at the end, which I feel applies to TJ the most. Glad jet completely removed the game show aspect of his game show the second season, truly neptunion. I just want shinji to win now because it would be pretty funny.

Which were majority physical challenges chosen to ensure the winners they wanted. As they did with challenges last year. AB has a great video on how they weight these challenges to get the results they want.
 
It's supposed to be the final episode and I've literally just been watching a bunch of people sit around and do absolutely nothing for almost an hour. I just want this to be over.

Not to mention there is no other Letty. There is no one would willingly put up with the hell Letty got put through again. That was a once in a lifetime thing. There is no Letty 2.0.
 
The combination of running Tor for this forum and running the actual Fishtank website is draining the battery on my old laptop so much that it has remained at 8% for 4 hours while plugged in.
