I"ll just upload these (again?) for anyone who wants to see what it was like to be there on the final day of fishtank, the last 30 minutes before they shut the stream down (with chat and everything) (emotional, icrievrytiem)

To be honest I completely missed the entirety of the camping arc because I stopped watching after Jon left and didn't resume until after Frank Hassle arrived. It's weird because I went from hating Letty to rooting for her when returning.

The crew had to baby Jon to get him to stay as long as he did. That's why they were really soft with TTS. After he left TTS got a lot more offensive and entertaining.

I think the tts ramping up after Jon left had less to do about Jon’s feelings and more to do with the fact that the show lost their prime entertainment. I also think the idea that Jon was babied is blown a bit out of proportion by a lot of people. When the show first started tts was on lockdown for everyone. You couldn’t call Sylvia fat, you couldn’t mention her onlyfans, you couldn’t mention Letty’s nudes, you couldn’t mention Vance’s gf, you couldn’t talk shit about a large portion of the contestants. The only person you could truly dog pile was Jon by calling him a retard. Not to mention, he was easily the most screwed over fish in a lot of the challenges.

Spoiler: examples and FT sperging

He didn’t get the wings he was promised because he “snitched” about tts even though Jet admitted later on this was bs. He won both hide and seek rounds and wasn’t given a fish buck for either instance. The hot dog eating competition was literally made to screw the guy over, as he made it very clear he didn’t eat pork in the first few days of the show (just get beef hotdogs). You could argue an entire competition was based around mocking him during the disability challenge. Imagine if Josie was in a get bullied challenge, or if Sylvia had to endure a fat mocking challenge. They wouldn’t last 30 minutes before breaking down. He was absolutely screwed out of the first cage challenge when he kicked a hole in the wall. He was Jason Goldstriker’s literal punching bag. During the cooking challenge he had his hands taped with Simmons while everyone else had at least one hand available. The fact that Jon was such a retard made it so production targeted him more for more content opportunities. You can disagree with his actions in these situations, but you cannot say he was babied imo.

I never missed Jon after he left and when he came back he acted like a total egotistical asshole.

Very true. The combination of his ego and naivety partnered with being given a fan base hit him like a truck when he got off the tank. That happened for like 20 days before he returned. Jon died on day 16, the thing that came back was an unfunny dickhead.

As for the actual premier of episode one it was ok. Kind of mid in my opinion, and I’m a bit curious as to how they’re going to fit 42 days of content into ten episodes, especially since the first episode was pre FT and day 1, but I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Oh man yeah I remember that. Just hours and hours of watching them all sit and do nothing in the living room. Honestly I think the show could have died during the camping challenge if they hadn't changed things like they did. I think bringing on Simon helped.

It might have been blown out of proportion but it's not entirely wrong. He stopped participating in all the challenges because he was self conscious after being called a retard so many times. He wanted to leave and the crew babied him for as long as they could before finally kicking him off. There was definitely a basement discussion about what had to be done to get him to continue participating.

If the fish were just chilling in the living room generally Jon would rile them up into something. But day 16 right after he left Jet had to come upstairs and give them Impersonations and then kind of fellate them all for being so funny during that challenge.

He was also talking about quitting by day 6. I think they just got locked into a Windy City Heat thing with Jon, where they knew they could get a reaction out of him and decided not to share the load around.

We could discuss it to death, I've said it a lot in the thread, but if- I know this doesn't make sense- they had begun the camping challenge as the weeklong elimination rather than disabilities and never did the Act Retarded challenge I think they could have kept him only slightly longer. But I don't think he would have stayed forever, his complaint from the word go was that he had a sensitive logistical situation going on at home with getting housing for his siblings and was worried not to be a part of it, and was upset at the downtime when he could be at work Gwinding.
They might even have seen that he was going to quit just because he wanted to go home and not because of the stress and decided to make sure it looked like they tortured him out rather than a Mauro-esque exit where he just decides to slink out the door one day.

If they get a Jon or some other Perry Caravello gullible stupid type in S2 the only thing I would change if I were Jet, is I would be more lenient with calls home. I wouldn't make it just totally open, here's the internet, but I would ration phone calls home to like 10 minutes a week and let them do it on camera using Jet's phone. People want to see Jon leave because he's tired of being called a retard, not because he doesn't know if his sister is homeless.
Maybe even make it a challenge or a fight, only let one fish make a call home and let them argue over who needs it most.

They had run out of ideas by Hyde & Seek. If you know Sam, his default when he runs out of ideas is destruction. Either the plans they had didn't work or were not feasible.

I sent them an email of 30+ well thought out and hairbrained challenges, some of them were implemented word for word as I wrote them. But most were not, my favorite was to recreate the Nashville trans shooters manifesto with crayons on black construction paper. Another was Hate Crime Reenactment Theater where the fish could recreate famous hate crimes and act them out theatrically in pairs for fishcoins. Send your ideas in, because they sure do need them.

Camping challenge, it was so nice to hear Sam come in and say what I had written when it came to ampping the fish up for it. Got to watch it live with the little lady and she was most impressed. They came up with that counselor stuff on their own, but glad it was popular and worked out.

The only other one I can remember was implemented half assed at the end. Keeping journals which needed to be hidden and searched out and stolen by the other fish. But around this time is when Letty tossed Jons Bible in the washer and things went out of control quickly.

Tennessee Mass Shooter Manifesto was never released. Fish must team up and recreate the manifesto with crayons and construction paper. No ideology can be expressed, only anime references and exotic car statistics.

Since the fish are such R&M fans. They can celebrate the dismissal of Justin Roilands charges by recreating Dan Harmons famous doll molestation scene.

Twitch Hot Tub ASMR Muk-Bang Card Unboxing Makeup Tutorial Challenge

Twitch.tv used to be for gaming, now it is everything but.

Hot tub or mobile pool can be assembled in Garage. Can be water or ball pit or balloons, whatever.

Fish can chose to wear bathing suits or whatever, aesthetics only add to the absurdity of the challenge.

Fish attempt to do 30 seconds of ASMR from the tub, then muk-bang something (deviled eggs, pizza rolls, whatever), then open a pack of upper deck or some cheap cards they need to assemble into a neat pile, finally grabbing a makeup item, applying it and attempting to explain its application.

Repeat for a few cycles, fastest fish wins.

Drowning the Fish Challenge

Goldfish have an attention span of 9 seconds.

Zoomers have an attention span of 8 seconds.

Constantly changing topics of conversation with a buzzer on “topics”.

Buzzer has countdown clock, if fish cant come up with a new topic or reiterate topic in time, they are eliminated. TTS can be discounted to try and interrupt their train of thought.





Foodie Beauty Challenge

Apply Makeup and Eat a small food every time a buzzer goes off in the house. Challenge duration can be long or short.

Creator Clash Parody Challenge (some way to mock idubs)

Balance boards and double ended foam lances for American Gladiator style physical challenge.

Some foam bats, foam clubs, and other toys like the nerf guns can used to battle harmlessly for fun or in a structured challenge.

Winner has to look right into the camera and tell Hasan Piker he is coming to his house to kill him.





Gumball Tank Live 500

Track set up going from living room, around kitchen, through foyer, and back to living room.

Each fish is given an (expensive?) battery powered RC car and must race other fish around the track for 500 laps. Will need to pit to charge, sense of urgency and need to compete for top spot.

Winner can eliminate a house member.





Red Shark White Shark Honeycomb Challenge

Fish play red light, green light in the living room only to be handed a honey comb to carve out without breaking. Shapes can be MDE logo, Star of David, Bitcoin icon, etc.





Personal Computer Assembly Challenge

Fish are given (cheap) PC parts and need to work as a group to assemble a PC from scratch. Installing the mobo, thermal paste, CPU, PSU, GPU, seating the ram, wiring the jumpers and are only successful when they can get the PC to POST.

Time limit with penalty, reward can be they keep the PC but can only play fish related content. (Ecco the Dolphin, Go Fish, ¯\_( ͠° ͟ʖ °͠ )_/¯)





Puppet Challenge

Fish are given puppets that look like them and must spend the day talking only through their puppets to other members of the house.





Stationary Bike Challenge

Fish must take turns on a stationary bike which must be kept running for entire day (12 hours), for every 30 mins of continuous usage, electricity, gas, and hot water will be maintained in the house totaling in 24 hours for the duration of the challenge. Any loss of time will result in being plunged into darkness with only small weak flashlights, all freezer and fridge food removed, and no hot water. Only food will be MRE and canned/jarred like sardines or something equivalent.





Ransom Letter Challenge

Fish must cut out letters from magazines to create ransom letters to their families or friends or significant others. Goldstriker can grade and pretend to mail, selecting a winner in a scenario created to cause genuine tension, intimidation, and dismay this would cause their loved ones.





Camp Tank Live Challenge

Successfully pitch a tent in the living room, one for the boys one for the girls. Spend the night in sleeping bags on the floor telling spooky stories by passing a flashlight while all the other houses lights are off. Make and eat camp food (smores, hamburgers, etc)

Perfect environment for the entity to terrorize them. Remove one fish at a time to an undisclosed safe location off camera to heighten the anxiety of the remaining fish. Leave 2 and return the rest in the morning like nothing happened.





Scavenger Hunt Live Challenge

Sharks place items throughout the house during the night. Fish are left with team arm bands and lists to collect items. TTS can be used to misdirect and gaslight fish into looking in the wrong places.

(Optional) Locations of items can be chosen in advance and cameras cut for placement.





Diary of Anne Tank Challenge

Each fish must keep and hide a diary of who they think Goldstriker selected for a secret objective and list all the odd behavior exhibited by other fish. Fish must hide or keep the diary on them and also search for other diaries to read in secret. Upon secret discovery of another fishes diary, fish can sign their name and hide it somewhere different. Sharks can escort a fishes found diary owner to the “gas chamber” where liquid ass shall be administered and they have to stay in the room for no less than 30 mins.





Standford Tank Experiment

Fish will be chosen by poll to be guards and prisoners for the day, adhering to the strict rules laid out by the terms of Jet and Goldstriker.





Dance Dance Tankolution

Get a PS2 with a DDR Matt and lets she Josie bust a move. Other fish can try it too.

Yeah I can see how Jet saw that suggestion after the plumbing went out and connected the dots lol.

A lot of your ideas I will be honest are kind of bad lol. Either suggesting they buy something that will only get used once or use something that someone from production has to make by hand or do way too much setup for, or the punchlines are just edgy without any actual joke. The one good ones are viral trends, camping, scavenger hunt, and the stanford experiment which they did kinda implement in the form of the freeloaders vs fish President thing.

I was indifferent to Letty for the first 3-4 weeks of the show. What made me start liking her was just how strong willed she was shown to be. The sheer amount of mental torture she endured is impressive af. Both Jon and Fatty were coached to go after her and when Sylvia left she was the new house punching bag and she would just smile and laugh. While Sylvia would argue and cry over TTS Letty never did. I don't think she ever got visibly angry once during the show. I'm a grown man and would have snapped at even a fraction of what she went through.

So I was sifting through the site now that it's working and I wanted to join the sneed clan. Turns out the grifting is so insane that you have to pay just to be able to join a clan without a invite. I got 60 dollars of entertainment from season 1, but can't justify supporting this shit anymore without feeling utterly retarded.

No she did, she got really upset often. But it might be harder to remember when compared to Jon or Chris' frequent full retard chimpouts when they were angry. She is more of a steam/seether than the hollerin' type a lot of other people on the show were.
