I think this is a smart move from Jet.
Yeah, I get that a lot of people on here want this to be a literal hell house full of torture and pain 24/7 but these are, for the most part, emotionally stunted kids (legally adults, but still kids mentally and emotionally). They gotta keep this shit going for 4 and a half more weeks.
This seems more of a "Terminally online zoomers not allowed to be online and have to live and interact with similar peers" and seeing how they cope, if they can cope, and how they change (if they do) over these weeks. Rather than actual torture hell chainsaw house.

I'm pretty sure this is why they changed the name from Hellhouse to Fishtank. You don't torture your fish, you just feed them, watch them swim around, and occasionally tap on the glass to see them freak out or chase your finger. The only way they'd be able to keep a group of people in literal Hell for only $20k is if they rounded up homeless druggies who already live in Hell. As funny as that'd be there's no way it would happen

What does Sam do besides show up once a day? this entire operation has largely been Jet's baby. Sure, Sam is financing it largely but outside of that and hosting it he hasn't seemed overly involved compared to Jet.

I have no idea specifically but if it was my money being spent I would be heavily-involved. Either Sam is involved & he's responsible for this mess or he isn't & he knows even less about producing a show than I thought (any production studio is going to send suits to the set to keep everybody on task.)

its just not enough money. 10,000 for a month and a half is an entry level job where you get to go home after 8 hours. I think it dawned on them what he is, and what the people who would watch a show made by him are, and its just not worth it. Unless you are mentally retarded like Jon, mentally retarded and a chinaman like Simmons, or desperate for attention like letty. No one is making it past this next week.

Honestly, I wouldn't consider this to be work. You get to lay around and read. Plus everything is basically paid for. Sure you don't get access to the internet and you have to put up with sperging and Sam's nonsense. But I personally wouldn't be completely opposed to that.
