What does Sam do besides show up once a day? this entire operation has largely been Jet's baby. Sure, Sam is financing it largely but outside of that and hosting it he hasn't seemed overly involved compared to Jet.

It's both of them. The day to day is Jet's thing, but for the time Sam is there, it fucks up the Fish's whole perspective and I don't think the show would work without both of their parts in the production.

Unfortunately, I don't think we will see any decent scheming or sabotaging again. Sam coming out and punishing Letty and Vance for her idea (Not her fault, how tf was she supposed to know you can't do that shit on a competition based torture reality show?) pretty much killed that game instantly. Now no one is going to want to do anything remotely risky (or "unauthorized" as they called it), nor are they going to want to be openly gossipy for fear of Sam's wrath. It didn''t help that every single time the fish did do something creative or competitive in the past, the staff put a stop it.

Yeah this was a really weird thing to do. Game shows like this are based around alliances and sabotage, and now everyone is going to be afraid to do anything that may get called out by Sam. I don’t know what his thought process was here, or if he even put any thought into it at all.

its just not enough money. 10,000 for a month and a half is an entry level job where you get to go home after 8 hours. Sam is a looming terrifying indiscernible ogre who makes people uncomfortable just by being near them. I think it dawned on them what he is, and what the people who would watch a show made by him are, and its just not worth it. Plenty of genuine reasons but I think the main one is it's a clusterfuck. Big media won't do it because they must control everything to insane degrees.
Streamers/content creators/normies won't do it because it requires a lot of work to get off the ground and too much capital for some literally who.

I've given it some thought and a very dedicated team of tech autists could pull this off from a tech standpoint (good feeds, able to fix things on the fly, etc) but then there's the people management.. you need a big personality and unironically a big guy in most cases to tard wrangle people like this when emotions run high.

Sam's group is in a great spot to do this despite themselves.

There's already Big Brother, which used to be an interesting show with accompanying online feeds, but now it's a woke boring mess thanks to the SJWs who watch the feeds religiously and complain about everything. Canadian Big Brother even stopped having live feeds this year
