What does Sam do besides show up once a day? this entire operation has largely been Jet's baby. Sure, Sam is financing it largely but outside of that and hosting it he hasn't seemed overly involved compared to Jet.

In that same conversation Jet found out about Sam taking away the baby from Letty and telling Vance he was going to have to do romantic things with Letty. And jets reaction was genuine confusion.

A bit disappointed they cut the cameras. I was looking forward to seeing possible late night scheming despite all the shit that happened. I honestly wouldn't put it past Vance or Letty to still scheme after everything because of their reaction to Jon crying in the bathroom was asking if he was ok to Jet and then immediately asking about the baby competition. We're also most likely going to miss out on how Jon is going to confront Vance and Letty about their betrayal if they haven't talked about it already.

Unfortunately, I don't think we will see any decent scheming or sabotaging again. Sam coming out and punishing Letty and Vance for her idea (Not her fault, how tf was she supposed to know you can't do that shit on a competition based torture reality show?) pretty much killed that game instantly. Now no one is going to want to do anything remotely risky (or "unauthorized" as they called it), nor are they going to want to be openly gossipy for fear of Sam's wrath. It didn''t help that every single time the fish did do something creative or competitive in the past, the staff put a stop it.

What REALLY didn't help is that Sam revealed and punished Letty/Vance right after dropping a nuke about Simmons being a pedo and then booting him out. And now Mario is leaving too. That's just more chaos that isn't going to go well to an already stressed out cast who are still trying to process what happened to Simmons. I think people underestimate how hard kicking Simmons out affected everyone that hung out with him and saw him as a nice guy and friend, only to learn today that apparently they were dead wrong about him. This wasn't just sad for Jon, though it did obviously hurt him the most.

There appears to be no real set rules and things change on Sam's whim.

I sort of worry that this kind of stuff could ruin fish tank. Sam obviously isn’t above humiliating the contestants for the show (even if he feels a little trolls remorse later). That part is a key component to making a reality TV show. What I wonder if Sam has the stomach for is keeping people in the house when they obviously and expressly want out. I’ve often thought a lot of reality TV shows use their social muscle to pressure contestants to stay on (don’t wanna continue? Oh, well, I guess you’re buying your own ticket back and we won’t actually be reimbursing those expenses we talked about, typical girls do porn techniques, etc). Plenty of genuine reasons but I think the main one is it's a clusterfuck. Big media won't do it because they must control everything to insane degrees.
Streamers/content creators/normies won't do it because it requires a lot of work to get off the ground and too much capital for some literally who.

I've given it some thought and a very dedicated team of tech autists could pull this off from a tech standpoint (good feeds, able to fix things on the fly, etc) but then there's the people management.. you need a big personality and unironically a big guy in most cases to tard wrangle people like this when emotions run high.

Sam's group is in a great spot to do this despite themselves.

I think him and Jon have a similar issue with their autism where they have accepted the idea that in order to succeed in life you need to be confident but neither has the self-awareness to do it effectively. So they end up proudly doing embarrassing things.
