I don't know what is more bizarre, the fact that Jon apparently has a Christian outreach program going (that of course asks for donations) or the fact that the site already sells merch with the Trump assassination attempt money shot.

When you say "Jon has..." what you're really saying is "Jon's handler(s) set up..." Not that Jon is necessarily being taken advantage of, he's all for it. You can bet they're also getting a cut, possibly even more than Jon.
This is one of the guys Jon hung out with in Austin, on his road trip with loveamerica aka Van.
Both "Buy Now" links link to the same shirt. The price for that shirt is listed as $29.99 but at checkout is $40.
The Stripe account is under Benjamin Palaskas.
Palaskas has a a nonprofit registered on June 5, 2024 in Astoria, Oregon. Jon is the president, Palaskas is the secretary. Another was registered on June 6th that is the same aside from the name.

Just a guess but loveamerica maybe locked in being the t-shirt guy for Jon.
loveamerica rushed to capitalize on this just as quick, as well as trying to make money off of Jon from season 2.5.

I don't know. Jimmy seems to allude to something relating to Tacxin around the 5:50 mark which makes it seem like they are still together but keeping it private.
And Jimmy mentioned around a thousand times during S2.5 that "he's not a homewrecker" when being told to rizz up Letty suggesting that she's not single. But who knows what is going on in reality. I guess TTS has to press her on that if they even let it through.

Josie won by doing nothing?
I want to present the real truth. Due to the mass of content it is easy to miss the important details. The reality is that Josie was set up to win from Day 1 and we just could not know by watching the Season live. The deal is, she locked in her win at her first basement interview during the Rice counting challenge.
How is this possible?
She endeared herself to Sam in a way he simply could not ignore. As if she had some divine intuition she managed to hit on the perfect soft spot.
The Great War Episode 1
Everything after Day 1 was just a formality. Josie got many small advantages and 'light' treatment during the season, relatively speaking. I believe having a weighted blanket is a very understated advantage in a Fishtank house. It helps immensely with sleep quality, giving Josie a real edge. So, her advantages were subtle at times, but present. Josie played the game better than anyone.
Duanyay said the fish were drinking and smoking weed a day before season 2.5 started
Mauro managed to bring buzz ball in the airport
New Production cast had to clean the main house to prevent it from being filthy. Duanyay and Bex enforced cleanliness rules.
Duanyay was the arbiter of cleaning and gave the new production crew a hard time.
New production member had a room to himself with two bathrooms and Duanyay forced him to share the bathroom with everyone
Dauanyay wished Delaney was on season 2.5
Mauro was crying upstairs when told to leave
There were at least 20 people living inside the main house
Jon and Sodaman argued a lot behind the scene
Duanyay doesn't believe Jon will win city council
When Mauro and Duanyay were arguing on day 3, Duanyay almost wanted to slap Mauro when he was getting in his face
Jon and Duanyay were wrestling over an ice cream
Creature is Jimmy's type
When Cryokeen yelled everyone in the house can hear him
Cyrokeen thought he was going to get special treatment because he was a fan
Jon was payed well after his hamstring injury and Jimmy fight
Duanyay's favorite NPC were Brian and Xavier
Jet was upset when some of the new cast auction 2.5 props without his permission
Duanyay thinks the NPC were sick from food poisoning after chef was cooking half cooked burgers and the reason why he didn't was because he had a "nigga burger" (well done burger)
The reason why they start main events 2-5pm EST were for fans watching overseas
Cryokeen wanted to join the space but Duanyay demanded 20$ for him to join lol
Duanyay loved when Sam rode the dirtbike and didn't want to drive it because of fear hitting a root
Apparently, Xavier paid production to be there
Evil Kevin also paid 12k to production to appear on 2.5
Fatty lost 100 Lbs
Jimmy joins the space and is going to set up a shopify
Duanyay wished they had more mosquito repellent supplies
Jimmy said the DM's are fake and he ignored the Vance GF dox threat
agreed. she is setting herself up for those booku simp dollars.if she start streaming those simp dollars will rain in. the deal with the devil is she is also setting herself up for crazy fishtank stalkers though.

We've been over this. Josie won season 1 by being the most simped after fish with the most amount of dedicated paypigs which gave her immunity from elimination. Getting rid of her would have been an idiotic move from a financial standpoint and would have infuriated the deep pocked paypiggies. It's not deeper then that. Making money trumps actual competition and Vance vs Letty would not have made as much money so she was kept on. Fishtank really is a popularity contest when it comes down to it.
The first week of may, the guy who played the priest called sodaman at midnight asking if he wanted to be an extra, and did he want to go be vetted. the day he got there because he was very available his role was expanded, he was picked to be a major character because he was someone who was talkative and not cringe, jet pitched the soda man character who brings them water so they don't die
the goblin and xavier were the other two writers and he kept meeting with them and ended up being a main writer
initially it was just a camping stream but the vampire thing was a random inspiration from jet and jet didn't realize what an undertaking it would become from there, rpg elements were added over time, they kept getting more actors, the goblin drove the quest thing and the overarching story
there was a 30 page document before they started of everything that was planned. about half was used
sodamans background is in ttrpg, so he had some experience working with a game like bloodgames where the players dont do what he wants them to do
if a player decides to steal in an rpg they just roll for it but if jon stole it caused issues because the items were real and loseable. he would refuse to sell to jon to mitigate that and then made him the enforcer of the rules to make him stop breaking them. it worked but his teammates hated deferring to him
xavier had a good idea of his own character but was intended to be a minor background character at first. they did two daylong playtests and he was the funniest thing about them so they decided to maximize his screentime. anytime they needed to move the plot they would use him to push it.
everyday they would take an hour in the morning to decided the next 23 hours of non-main-story. the main story was settled but the other activities were created in that hour
he knew about xavier's 7 years of lore before the show, xavier is just xavier that's just the way things are
xavier sodaman and goblin counted on each other for the story but sodaman said he should've cued more quests for other npcs so they would've stood out more. in the second week they were scrambling for main quests and there was a point where the fish were exhausted and the overutilized npcs were alos exhuasted so it was hard to cue things. in a second attempt he would try to rotate actors in and out so that npcs got balanced screentime and people wouldn't get burnt out.
the last 3 days were a marathon. happy with the final day - they planned a fight all across the whole map from the beginning but pulled off that final setpiece even though they were tired.
after the writing meeting the second meeting would be on the whiteboard where they would tell the actors what they needed to do. they had earpieces to chat with npcs and there were 30 people onstaff and only 12 radios. they would cue xavier to cut him off from talking too long or tell him to keep going. being able to cue people with lines remotely was helpful
xavier's phone was a burner
"who was the biggest legal liability": Mauro. Sodaman said: People act like Jimmy is this big scary guy but he's a normal guy you just don't wanna stress him out too much. He didn't cause trouble for production. Jon caused trouble but only when he derailed the story
Thoughts on jimmy doxxing threats: doesn't think they were real but if they were not a bit he is giving Jimmy the benefit of the doubt and it shouldn't be treated so seriously because everyone was extremely tired by that day
"Are you aware of Xavier' s previous internet antics:" He came from nowhere and shall return to nowhere
on tayleighs meltdown: can't answer much about it. xavier and goblin and soda man set out to do an egirl stalker arc that would be funny. goblin watched s1 and 2 watched those seasons, sodaman and xavier did not. went on twitter and saw people saying things like "production is keeping up with tays streams and her trauma" but that was not intentional it was an accidental pull from the collective unconscious. they had long discussions after with tay apologizing. some things were similar to real life events that shouldntve been and it was a big regret and more traumatizing than it was intended to be.
biggest lesson: rotate actors. everything else went smoothly. feels very lucky that everything else went smoothly, no other major issues where people were upset for more than an hour besides the tay thing. tensions were high - the cast are tense people - but they avoided big blowups or issues that wouldve delayed or stopped production.
top moment: stealth mission with the sharks where Soda Man got to queue the NPCs for once instead of goblin doing it and got to suggest the pigpen cypher when Xavier asked him if he knows any cyphers
Second favorite - gave Jimmy a quest for 2 gold to get Brian and Taylor to do caffeine with him and told them to stonewall him, so jimmy ended up paying for almost as much to get them to do it as he made in the reward and then paid the rest of the reward to free the sodaman from being held hostage. soda man had to leave the scene after brian showed up and had a tantrum because he was laughing too hard
Most dangerous moment - the bloodrave. they were lucky the ground was wet.
After the flamethrower moment he was just reeling like "this is happening, isn't it." the cast went back to the workshop and sat back and questioned their life choices and couldn't believe it
Was most surprised by the girls - didn't expect them to be as resilient as they were
Vance came in and "figured something out" as soon as he was on set and then cooperated with production to help herd the fish toward it. Vance reached a point where he opened up and feels like they were able to help him do that
Hadn't met Brian before the show, came to understand from Brain how S2 was hellish and behind the scenes they called 2.5 "healingtank" a lot because 2.5 gave the fish the chance to show a comedic side. understands the audience wants to see torture sometimes too and see their reactions to that but thinks Brian and Jimmy came off very differently when not stressed. Every castmember said they would do the show again if they could
Deliberately trolled Letty's fans after they started spamming his mentions and would make it a point to be rude to her to get them to do that more. One fan in particular demanded he give letty a discount so he doubled the prices for her then was offset all day
They were very lucky in every regard other than that the npcs got burnt out, feels they had few issues with any other part of production
Jet told him to play dumb when Jon was mad at him because he knew it dumbfound Jon so they acted like broken NPCs
Someone on the nearby construction site was a fan and was an extra who built the stocks as a vampire
The skyhook was intended to be bought by them and then forgotten because it would seem useless. They were just going to tell the fish that without it they couldn't kill the duke but forgot and jimmy had it anyway
They got MANY noise complaints. Every night someone -maybe the same someone - complained. They tried to tell the neighbors every night and promised to stop by midnight. One neighbor was pissed every night. Didnt turn the sfx at night every night which would've caused issues.
Intends to be involved in S3, doesn't know to what extent. Can't really talk about what's coming because it's early, because he doesn't know not because he's not allowed. Wasn't allowed to tell people he was working on 2.5 until things were underway. Would work together with Xavier again "for sure" but the last thing they talked about was working together again.
Some unused bits could be recycled for 3 but 2.5 bits are too different in nature to recycle.
About the fan submitted quests: A lot of the quests that were not done were just because they didn't have time compared to the main quest and they had a big setpiece for each artifact. They thought maybe 3 fish would be involved with each main thing and 3 fish would do other stuff but "i dunno" they were running out of time and realized that some bits would not work on screen and cut the ones that they weren't sure about.
Inspiration for Soda man: be someone who could queue others' lines and get other characters going on a monologue, be a character who could be a PA
if they failed to save soda man or failed to save his business he would've been turned into a vampire but they tried their best at every turn to prevent that which he found surprising. soda man didn't end up dying in canon
jet wanted sodaman to look like a steampunk larper. it made him recognizable but he never washed it and thinks it was thrown out in the end.
everyone got sick, he was the only person who never got sick. likely due to 20-30 people living so close to each other living unhealthily. the only food he got to eat one day was vegan dumplings taylor made. thinks it was the caffeine because he mightve gotten sick but didn't feel it due to the caffeine. they really tested everyone to make sure the caffeine powder was not cocaine
the guy who did the music was just there to help with manual labor but showed them what he does for music and jet heard it and asked him to do music too. every time they heard what he had worked on it was a banger and said it made things very official instead of feeling like guys hammering wood into the ground at that point.
Jon was not supposed to use his phone but did, it was sewn into his jacket. Jet was sorting through Jon's stuff from the lockbox in a locked room and felt the hard object in Jon's jacket to find the burner and shouted "I FUCKING KNEW IT". Nobody else broke the no phone rule.
Is interested in running a D&D stream, offered it to Brain and Jimmy and they expressed interest. Will be like a "spelljammer" space naval adventure
biggest regret they didn't have time for - kill sodaman off because he was too likeable, make him come back as a vampire. but the show would've had to go much longer. They also had a quest called the Dying Man where there would be an npc who is dying and asking for water or zipp and the demands would escalate with him being more in pain and more dying but asking for dumb things like cash or coins or a girlfriend. At the end he would ask them to leave him there and then just die.

@Enig Hadn't you mentioned in sneedchat that Jon was knee-deep in Discord gayops? I think it's time to elaborate on that and post some screenshots, we just got proof that it may be true. Having a phone sewn into his jacket, dear lord. Jontent.

Thats nice to hear.
On a scale with Friendtank and Hellhouse at the extremes I think they went slightly too far into Hellhouse for 2.5 as a bit of a crutch. It wasn't too far but I would have really liked to have seen more of the Friendtank personally.
