The idea of a plant isn’t to leak info to the crew, it’s to fuck with the fish in ways the audience cannot with the added benefit of the fish thinking it’s an actual contestant fucking with them instead of the crew. As an example, if Jet or a shark came up and fucked with a fish they can justify it as being apart of the show, “this sucks but I have to do it for the money.” If a plant fucks with them it seems less justifiable and will evoke a completely different more genuine emotion of hatred, “this person has no reason for doing this and is just being a dick.”

I’d agree with you that Damiel wasn’t a plant and just a friend of Jet who he let on the show, except Jet and the entirety of the Fishtank crew continues to this day saying Damiel was a plant. So either Damiel was a (terrible) plant as Jet says, or he wasn’t a plant and Jet insists that he was. My personal guess is that Damiel was planned to be a plant by the crew, but like the vast majority of things on that list it wasn’t fully planned out and as a result we got a drug addicted wigger being annoying. Jet has too big of an ego to admit he was meant to be a plant, but the planning didn’t work out because he’s incompetent so he continues to insist that Damiel was a 200iq plant.

Damiel was absolutely the plant, it's not in doubt. I think at most they didn't know the word for what they were doing with him or they didn't have any plan but I can lay out exactly how he was definitely the plant.

• Damiel was in the house on day -1. The cameras were hot and Ben shouted Damiel's name and Jet told him not to say it, later Damiel arrived and was told to stay in the basement but eventually was allowed upstairs with a white shark mask on to use the toilet.
• Obviously the phone thing, I don't think he actually did have weed but he was constantly using his phone in very obvious ways where if he actually won the grand prize after doing that on camera people would have gone ballistic. He was talking out loud to people in the YouTube chat asking for advice on what to do.
• Damiel was removed from the house less than an hour after he had a fight with Jon that climaxed with Jon pointing out that he had seen Damiel in a photo with Sam. They pulled him initially because he was pointless if he couldn't even fool Jon. I think they probably reconsidered taking him away when the other fish said they missed having him there.
• The deadlining thing I mentioned like 50 pages ago- Damiel told Vance his baby would be born on what was eventually the day Frank and Simon left the tank. It was a stupid lie but I assume if he stuck it out they wanted to give him a semicoherent thing to say on his way out the door to save him from accidentally winning.

I think before he was removed he was the plant, but without his phone on his return he was more there as just a spare contestant to fill the house with.

I agree with what a lot of people have said that Jet’s ego is getting crazy. He has to be aware that if this project didn’t involve Sam it wouldn’t have succeeded at all. He was super unprofessional after the show with the cast as well and used poor judgement making quick decisions to bring people like Betty on without vetting her and then she caused problems and went on to snitch and talk shit about everyone on the show when she was gone after what, not even two days?

I think Sam is funny most of the time and Fishtank was a great premise but he definitely surrounds himself with very young yes-men. He pays their rent, gives them work and a little bit of clout and it seems cultish. Sometimes he reminds me of a younger, less fucked up Joe Exotic who just goes to a bus station or unemployment office to find people who have little to nothing and could never find gainful employment on their own and brings them in. It’s fine to give people a chance and teach them some valuable skills, but it seems like those are the only people who he will allow under his employ long-term as they know they’d be nothing without him.

If Sam keeps allowing Jet to moral posture and believe he’s actually some talented rapper, e-celeb, mastermind baller who keeps bringing in his brain dead, drug addicted wigger friends things are going to implode.

I don’t have a lot of faith in season two unless Sam takes over more and gives Jet way less control.

Edit: I understand Sam was busy with WP2 while season one was filming but his absence made it extremely boring most of the time. I got to where I was only checking in once or twice a day and just saw people sitting around in silence on the couch, spread out alone throughout the house doing nothing interesting or having unintelligible convos around the island so I just started watching when Sam said he was about to go in. After like three weeks of this I’d just check the clip channels on YouTube and twitter for anything interesting that may have happened that day and watched the finale live. Plus, that Willy Wonka ending was 100% Sam’s idea. Jet isn’t creative enough to think up something like that or act it out. I also think right before the Willy Wonka finale the angry speech Sam gave calling out the audience was actually how he felt to a certain degree. He hates most of his fans, especially the types of people who get super obsessive over things like fishtank but he’ll happily take their money. He seemed so bored and irritated towards the end trying to come up with final challenges for Josie and Letty off the top of his head and was probably creatively exhausted having to wing it with the final challenges after dealing with WP2.

These people will occasionally pop into my feed and they have so many inside jokes and running gags they repeat on stream that they've got to have some kind of private group chat or Discord for their little group of Josiecels. Hooter (who I'm pretty sure was confirmed to be Tony from Hack the Movies, the fat neckbeard who had her review Willy Wonka with him) got into it with some other Josie fan on Twitter and long story short, some of these tards are deliberately making ugly edits and spreading rumors of her being a slut, I guess as some sort of weird negging thing? Or to get potential competition away from her so they have a better chance at being her boyfriend? Agreed. The documentary is really showing off how bad Damiel's method is. Sitting 20 feet away shouting "shut up!" and "stupid bitch!" plays just as bad in the documentary as it did live, nothing can save it. And it's worse now that we find out Damiel was talking about punching Sylvia on day two, because his entire span of time in the house now is bookended by fantasizing about beating women.

Interesting. I just looked on Twitter and they’re not following each other and he’s following all the fish except Jon, Sylvia and Betty (barely a fish). I don’t know if he was ever following Sylvia or Betty but they were all streaming together two nights ago.

He has also removed the two songs he did with Jon from Spotify. He hasn’t removed any of the Sam content and is also following the rest of the MDE crew so it seems like a Jon problem.

Periodically users are rewarded with XP for contributing $0.10 or more to the clan, so leaders are incentivized to grow and advertise an initiative that people will want to contribute to. Right now they are pointless so the branding and teams don't make sense, but what you can't see is that most "high" or "highest" clans have at least $500 pooled already.
What is likely is, if we had had clans last season, there would have been a "take Damiel's bed" clan or "give Josie a plushie" clan or "we only TTS jjjjj" clan, for examples.

They're something of a mystery to me, they seem to pop out in a flood whenever something happens even though Letty has been dormant and even though I don't see them talking amongst themselves anywhere on the Internet. I know she has a much smaller clique of usual suspects who don't seem to fight like Josies do, but she also has this iceberg of Chuds that appear out of nowhere for her.

Definitely not as insane as Josie's, not half as aggressive with trying to get her attention. Even FishtoesMcBack is just kind of merry and retarded.
