Except Azura, that is definitely incest.
The funniest part of that, is on paper, and in all routes except Revelation, she seems like the only royal not related to Corrin. The level of incest and quasi incest in the game was fucking nuts. The funniest thing was Awakening at least tried to get rid of the incest in the English translation. Like if you're not paying attention and have Owain and Lucina S support, they get listed as "Companions" instead of Husband and Wife, because they're first cousins.

Regarding Dani, Fire Emblem youtubers being absolutely deranged is one of those things that just doesn't surprise me. If you told me that any of them were a sex offender, I don't think a single one would shock me.

the more they go into identity politics, the more likely they are to be a sexpest of some sort.

You'd think a community of autists that play anime chess games developed by Shouzo Kaga would be less autistic, right?

it's all kayfabe, notice how this Donlot guy sounds like Mekkah?
damn you reply fast. I was about to add I was suprised Mangs made a come back since Kagas new game Vestaria Saga II has an open trans character. (I only saw dialogue from a tweet, it could have been edited for all I know.) I don't want to fact check though since I don't like Vestaria Saga, and its making me think Kaga is at his best when he's being restrained, kinda like John Kricfalusi.

Kaga when unrestrained goes a little too much into the "questionable", like the amount of underage "dancers" he has.

If having an underage mind controlled dancer was what he needed to make make Chapter 5 of Vestaria Saga I fun, then I would have accepted it, because it's so boring and tedious. 5 locked doors, and a ship that lets you skip the doors, but you can only send 3 units at a time to the ship, and you still have to get the rest of your units through the death hallway

Yeah no, that is another case of trannies doing mental gymnastics to fit their reality, as the "trans" character is...
a girl who her mother (who is not actually her mother but a witch who kidnapped her) passed her as a boy so she could use her to trick her husband into making her the heir of the territory she was trying to take control of. In the first game there is a kind of tranny wish fulfilment scene (probably Dangen's fault) where she discards her boy identity to come out as a woman, but considering she was a woman at birth this comes off more as her detransitioning if anything. The second game even makes more emphasis on her being born a girl as she becomes a special virgin maiden meant to keep out demons from destroying the world (and in typical Kaga fashion, her step brother now has the hots for her even to less than a year prior to the events of the game, not only he thought she was a boy, he also thought they were blood related)
TL;DR: Crazy woman pooned out her daughter for personal gain, trannies are retarded and think this is a W, water is wet, more news at 11.

It's hilarious how easy it was for him to replace his first/worst acquaintances with similar, yet better people, including actually getting the girl.

I've said it a bunch of times but I really am happy for Mangs. You can say what you want about him, that his content sucks or that he did sexually assault Goosaphone.

But one thing you cannot say about him is that he has not grown as a person, he has literally fought his demons, quit alcohol, he still uses his platform to help out and Collab with smaller creators and to top it all off he has actually developed tangible skills.
Him and his team are most likely the most skilled FE romhackers there are currently, on stream whenever he responds to questions about romhacking he is confident, several times saying that stuff is possible to do (such as dynamic child units in a GBA FE game) and that he knows exactly how he would do it.

It would not surprise me at all if he starts an indie game with his team where they aren't tied to the limitations of a gba rom.

And it tells you a lot about the other side of the fandom, Mekkah and co, the ones who've stagnated, who want to drag Mangs down, who condemn all who work with him.

Good and evil has never been so apparent in an online community to me.

From what I understand, something like this is already in the works. Mangs and his team want to rebuild Andaron Saga in another engine and will include a bunch of stuff that had to be cut from the GBA hack because of rom limitations like lost supports, boss dialogue, more playable units and so on.
I don't know though if he plans to monetize it, or if he even could, considering all the links it still has to FE.

What's funny is that even now, there's just more proof that faggotry just divides communities. Mangs has good smaller-creators as cohosts. But he's also gotten some wannabe faggots trying to get shilled.

But it seems he's learned to not give into the faggotry. Hopefully.

He probably could if he just ported it to another engine and redid all the animations and art.

At long last we have begun Thracia. First impressions are great. It's just like Genealogy but tweaked to make it more "bearable". Don't get me wrong I like what FE4 did. I liked its mechanics, maps, the money system and the grand scale. However, playing it in 2025... I just needed some kind of auto-battle/enemy phase skip to get through the duller moments when you're just moving units around those giant ass maps.

What Thracia scales back from its maps it makes up for in aesthetics and streamlining. Everything is bite-sized now with some added QoL improvements (pooled Gold and trading with anyone). Having the context of Genealogy is great because the scene doesn't have to be set for me. Right below Awakening/Valentia the visuals are the most pleasing I've seen in fire emblem. The character portraits finally look normal, and the maps/UI are super appealing to me. FE4 was so huge that strategizing at this smaller scale feels really comfortable.

As ambitious as FE4 was I do agree that it's pace and enemy placement can definitely get tedious at times. (Also not a big fan of baron/generals their 'I can randomly block attacks at will'-skill because fuck you, game decides to be an ass.

Glad you're enjoying FE5 though. Notice from the interface you're likely playing the Lil' Manster patch which adds some welcome improvements over the base game.

FE5 to me feels much more in-line with FE3's structure of shorter maps, trading around at will, and also being forced to dismount for indoor sections. The game still likes to pull some dickpunches on occasion so do beware for those, and capturing/stealing mechanic is interesting.

I'd honestly place FE5 amongst my personal favorite entries in the series because as sometimes brutal as it can be, it's also really engaging to play.

Also LMFAO at Dilation Doyle's TMI over-sharing vid. Gotta love inserting Fates gameplay over a topic that revolves around airing 'muh grievances'. Motherfucker deserves all the mockery and I'm appalled no one reported his ass for essentially forcing unsoliticed nudes to his paypigs on Patreon while not even indicating that on his ad-whoring.

I guess I've been fortunate to get the patches I have, no bullshit or modern nintendo treehouse-tier antics. Kaga seems to work in cycles. He makes a solid formula, goes crazy with new ideas in the next game, then returns to form with what worked back into a solid formula.

I can already see why people say FE5 is hard, it expects competant planning and strategy in just about everything you do. You can't save like in Genealogy nor take time to fix weapons and train in the arena (though capturing helps fix weapon problems). You don't really have time to breathe. As soon as you get a taste of a fog of war map, you move on to rescuing children from being sacrificed to Molech.
Fire Emblem - Thracia 776 (Japan) (patched) 6_7_2025 3_54_06 PM.webp

I gotta say I didn't expect Bridget to go through the shit she does. She gets kidnapped by pirates as a child and loses her memories of Jungby. Then she regains her memories after Edain gives her Yewfelle, and she fights with Sigurd til the end. She somehow survives Belhalla but loses her memories yet again... and now she's footing it as a swordmaster in Thracia with no holy weapon and no memories years after all her friends die.

Yeah haven't really run into any dumb 'adjustments to text'-tier patches when I downloaded mine either. And yeah that's the funny thing with Kaga: Implements crazy idea's and sometimes stuff that's bullshit, but simultaneously if you know what you're doing you can counter-bullshit back and feel so good about yourself for it.

It does require planning for what units you'll use long-term and how to work around harsh difficulty curves the game tosses your way. One such case being the fatigue system in where unlike other FE's you can't pick a handful of units and use only them in all of the chapters hogging all the EXP, as when their fatigue exceeds their total HP, they're forced to sit out the next chapter, hence you need to either bench them sometimes or use stamina drink items wisely. Although it isn't enforced until after chapter 7, it's annoying when you play without any foreknowledge and might be forced to bench a unit that's vital in recruiting a new one.

Oh and the upcoming few chapters are infamous for being really nasty in terms of getting handicapped, harsh encounters and the units you have to work with, but after a few chapters it gets waaaay better. Just don't feel discouraged by whatever the game throws at you.

Bridget goes through a handful alright, but this entry also puts her through the wringer even further. Do really like Leif's characterization in this game's plot and August is in my opinion the best Malledus-older tactician guy-archetype in the series.

FE6 is my all-time favorite of the entire series, but FE5 would definetly be a close second in that regard. I think that game just hits the right balance between "feature creep" vs simplicity that no other FE games does it. I love the capture mechanic, I even love the fatigue mechanic and thought it was a really cool idea to make all stat caps only go to 20 for easy army swapping.

Really makes me wish they brought both of these mechanics back for another entry, but maybe they'd be too outdated for current gaming standards anyways.

Yeah, Thracia does that a lot. It's definetly one of those games that the 2nd playthrough is better than the first imo. But even then, I still had a lot of fun with my first playthrough.

... let's just say that I wish someone told me about the importance of buying door keys before. It's surprisingly not necessary, but it could have saved me a lot of headache lol.

It is absolutely hillarious to me how stagnant Mekkah has gotten. Dude just refuses to come up with any appealing concepts. Just the old LP's and tier-list videos. His channel entered negative growths mode.

It's almost like a Jagen if you think about it. It's a Pitfall ™️ to move on from the aging master after all.

It's what happens when you both take solace into only making video's on your comfort-zone IP which can only get you so far and have the charisma of a dead fish.

Really, everytime I tried to on rare-occasion watch any of Mekkah's content his voice just drones on and on, even in the better-edited video's like that 'Top 10 worst Fire Emblem Bosses' one he delivers jokes with the same flat delivery.

It also doesn't help his case that ever since he disavowed Mangs and made that hit piece video on him, he made his bed with the echo-chamber woke mob 'community' and solidified himself as a backstabbing opportunistic snake.

Granted I don't really watch a whole lot of Mangs' stuff either and usually only a select couple of video's, but the dude still oozes personality, dips out of his comfort zone on occasion and while not making as many edgy jokes he's still entertaining. No wonder he's still raking in decent views and not getting stagnant because I suspect he knows what it entails to be an entertainer.

Just makes it all the more entertaining to me that almost every Fire Emblem and Advance Wars community tries to treat him like a Persona Non Grata-Voldemort, yet they must seethe that he's still doing well.

My only real issue with the likes of Mekkah and Ghast is that frankly they don’t have anything left to say, and I think they know it. There’s 14 (or as little as 11 not counting remakes or 16 counting all versions of fates) games in this franchise, and after a decade of regular content creation there really isn’t anything more for them to say. Engage being such a nothing game means the content drought is basically 7 years at this point since 3H.

The only way further is to branch into other SRPGs or ROMhacks, this franchise can’t sustain that kind of community for so long without new things to discuss like we could when Awakening, three Fates games, and 3H which had four routes with very divisive characters all within 5 years could support.

Everyone has offered their opinion on everything that matters, the only thing left to do is deep dives into glup shitto (FEMSP who I actually like), deep dives into specific design elements (zenith dude who is alright sometimes but rarely has anything to say that I don’t already know), Re-Litigate Fates again, or just ramble on about nothing for hours on end, or chop your cock off I guess that’s an option too.

Love or hate mangs, or better yet don’t care about Mangs either way, he found a niche of adding fresh content to the community that nobody else really seems to do.
