Her character would have been decent with another design in another game. The amount of simps she had on account of being the only character with any degree of ambiguity in Engage was also annoying.Hey! Give my "Hiya Papaya" the respect that she deserves, because she was the only Engage character that I remotely found interesting in that game

I don't disagree with the first half, but really, when you're talking about Engage in general, you kinda just accept that most of your characters have a design flaw. I looked at a list of characters rn, and only that game's Jagen "Vander" looked like a cool FE character. Diamant and Zelkov also had a nice design, but still went too much into Vtuber territory imo.
And being frank with you, I kinda left the fandom a little before Engage came out (was super tired of reading 3H discourse), so I had no idea Yunaka was that game's waifu for most people lol. Makes sense thinking about it, but I always imagined the real annoying simps would be Ivy fans however.

I remember Chloe, alpackin bro, and Pannete and her brother who I actually really liked but can’t remember his name. Diamant was cool but he got killed by Lyn in the “practice battle”.
Ivy was pretty cool, her weird religion thing was pretty cool other than the very awkward thing of having an anime girl worship “me” as a god which was really uncomfortable. But removing “me” from Alear it’s a pretty cool idea

When you click the latest Speedwing video and scroll down there's a lot of comments from literal /r/fireemblem powerusers to the tune of "errmmmm don't you know Mangs is a rapist tho," which isn't even really uncommon for his channel at this point, poor guy, but this time there's a lot more than usual and they're mad. I originally decided to not bother writing (or getting caps, which I already regret), but it's been over a day since I started writing and they're still going too
The last screenshot with the Yugioh hammer shark pfp is what I want to focus on. Hiiyapow is kind of infamous on /r/fireemblem under the name Wellington_Wearer for being a total sperg, mostly about Awakening Lunatic and how Vaike is actually the best unit in the game if you just sit in the water and grind for 50 turns and don't get too unlucky. And then later don't get too unlucky with Sol procs when the game turns into skill proc roulette, but I digress.
The point is he's melting down about this exchange for the world to see not even a day later.
Let me try to break down why people don't care, as someone who used to not like Mangs. It's because they don't have your complete inability and refusal to read the fucking room. They don't go out of their way to intrude into the comment sections of meme videos, or advances in Path of Radiance romhacking to make it playable for people who don't have turtles for brains, to be spiteful, belligerent, passive aggressive, thought-policing, accusatory, morally grandstanding faggots who weaponize their subscription status to a FE shitpost youtube channel for five years straight, faggot. Doing that all while calling other people wrong, and vile, or insulting their integrity.
People just want to be able to make jokes and have some reach without having to kowtow to people who make Fire Emblem Underage Butthole Tier Lists, but not you, Mr. Fuckin Wholesome Naive, who'll probably still be moaning about this everywhere, to everyone who acknowledges Mangs constantly, in another five years
In another fail on my part, there was a separate post in this Reddit thread about the Speedwing Question that now seems to be deleted. My guess is Speedwing and all discussion of him is now considered verboten there as well. His video really nabbed the butthurt troons this in a way that surprised me, and it took a while, too long, but I think I understand why. I have two ideas.
Scenario 1 is they saw an obviously good faith shitpost about Mangs, and anything good faith Mangs is verboten because the Begnion Senate sentenced him to death.
Scenario 2 is they're mad because they saw this thumbnail and unironically expected real gay slapfighting only to be baited into silly RevGOD discourse by a smug brit.
It's damn good bait to draw out the exact kind of redditor reactions from above. Things like this are why I second guess the legitimacy of Soy Emblem; I'm fairly certain a lot of the people around Mangs cut their teeth in Bait 101 in 4chan FE threads, and while 4chan might not be dead yet, the recent hits it's taken have to be trickling outwards someway, somehow.

Ignoring everything around Goose's accusation that makes it far from credible and how even she wanted it to be left alone when Mekkah tried dredging it up a couple years back, the simple fact is people are still watching and collaborating with Mangs and his crew when the alternatives for FE youtubers are terminally boring Mekkah, troons like Dani Doyle, people with blatant speech impediments like ActualLizard, and all your other uncharismatic r/fireemblem types with a stick up their ass. If they want Mangs and the "nazis" to fade away, start making better content than them (and not ostracizing people at the drop of a hat over petty political bullshit would help too).

Hit Fire Emblem YouTuber DaniDoyle uploaded a quite interesting video a few hours ago. For those unfamiliar, Daniel Doyle is known for things like letting minors into his NSFW server, then making it private when some mentioned it, sending his highest patreon supporters unsolicited nudes, calling everyone he doesn't like a nazi, including Fire Emblem youtuber Mekkah (for not supporting trannies ENOUGH), being a general sex pest, making top or bottom tierlist of fire emblem characters, exiling someone from his community for having a different fire emblem opinion, then complaining when said person donates 200$ to their tranny support stream, and (surprise surprise) being a transgender extremist who hates anyone who is not a tranny.
