Engage's plot is lame at best, so I see your point.

Fates is disappointing because it had an interesting concept (and the fucker who had Birthright before me didn't buy all routes, so I was extra pissed and cool designs for the most part.

Fates characters feel a little too overly detailed for my taste. But, it's not to the point where I think they're impossible for anyone to latch on to.

Those games are more or less made with love. We're talking a series that managed to salvage goddamned Gundam Seed Destiny, and that is a Herculean task in itself. Besides, I will never not laugh at the endgame sequence of Alpha 3 where the ghosts of those that died in the Alpha series come to rally your cast. So what's been going on with Kartal? I was curious about FE drama and went to check Kartel's youtube channel for the first time in a few months and it's gone. I see there is an archive channel (Kartal Archive) for him, not sure if he made it himself. All the vids on that channel involving drama have comments turned off. As someone who's been more "pro-Mangs", I find all of this a bit fishy. Every time I look into all this FE drama, I just end up with more questions with answers.
 
It's somewhere along the lines of an autist named MasterKnightDH harassing him for associating with Mangs and Mekkah bringing up old drama for clicks.
 
It's all so tiresome. Like, we know SOMETHING happened Mangs said so himself. But it's impossible to take Goose or any of her friends at face value. They all talked trash behind his back. It's obvious they were piggy backing off his success and waiting for a chance to leave him at the curb. But it's impossible to prove it definitively, so even though what most likely happened is easy to suss out, there's JUST ENOUGH plausible deny ability to keep this whole thing circling the drain forever.
 
So despite boycotting it when it initially came out because it's such cliched anime garbage, character and story-wise, I finally broke down and got Fire Emblem: Engage. I noticed a few things about Timerra:
-Obnoxiously loud and doesn't give a shit about it
-Eats way too much meat
-Wears gaudy jewlery
-Is from a country/people that only protects their own and acts like women are somehow superior to men
-Is touted as some great, amazing fighter but is utterly useless in battle, only able to use one weapon
Timerra is nigger-coded

Timerra is actually great if you know how to use her...which tbh mostly just adds up to actually bothering to promote her. The main problem with the Solm arc is basically every unit you get there is at least as good or better than the Brodia gang because of skill points and when you get them, but there's only so many character slots.

Long-term she's a better prospect than say, Celine or Alfred, though even those two are still workable.

a group chat between goose/mekkah/ghast/etc. did get leaked forever ago.

i think the issue is that the anons who know about this are too lazy to compile everything into a big thread. you're gonna have to go prodding in the places for this. but rest assured, the only people who have deep hatred for mangs at this point are really far gone. even left-oriented normies are kinda starting to see him as a "whatever" if the rape allegations get broken down in front of them.

After Andaron Saga released with no issues I think the Mangs drama is done for good. And considering how well he's doing I don't think there is a reason to dig into it again, unless Mekkah and the others try to start shit again which does not seem to be the case.

yeah at best it'd be some absolute fucking retard that blubbers. but, i'd also wager that the main culprits are in a catch-22 on this as Ghast and Mekkah's dirty laundry got aired out very shortly after the initial mangs cancellation and we also had Dondon scolding Mekkah, in the comments of his "Mangs Drama Recap" smear video that came like 6 months after the initial event, for not consulting with him and the others over the video.

If something comes up, maybe I'd be motivated to help write up an OP on it.

Honestly it's kind of a nothingburger. Like, Mangs is verboten on FEU and other FE "spaces" but those people don't really gel with his style of doing things. If any genderspecial faggot that's watching mangs whines about his community or he himself not being PC, they're fucking braindead.

it's also funny seeing the amount of hubris a lot of these hangers-ons had in thinking they could cancel Mangs and scoop up his subscriber base.

Are there even any FE YouTubers worth watching anymore? Everything I've seen recently is either from the 'old guard', whose content has run its course as far as entertainment goes (or was never that good to begin with), or newer channels whose videos I can't make it through because they all speak with that nails-on-a-chalkboard autistic cadence, even if the premise is interesting.

I've always preferred just playing the games as opposed to watching other people play them, so I'm not feeling like I'm missing out or anything. It's just interesting to see how the community (on YT, at least) seems so dead and uninspired, despite FE still being a decently popular series. Excelblem was maybe the exception, but even his shtick has gotten kind of stale at this point.

It's funny to see how none of them understand that they all have the personality of wet sandpaper. Mangs is far from an S tier act, but him having ANY edge to him whatsoever, makes him infinitely more watchable than everyone else on youtube making Fire Emblem videos. The only other guy who tries to put any humor into his vids at all is the MSPaint guy who ruins every video by putting "Donate to Palestine" at the end. Like HOO BOY, GET A LOAD OF THIS GUY AND HIS TWITTER APPROVED OPINIONS™.
