Triangle Strategy looks interesting so I ask: is the story good?
You can actually leave this game running by itself for quite an while until it gets to an dialogue prompt or when you have to explore. It's almost like an interactive audiobook that's trying to be edgy, at one point.

Or at least the characters?
Recruited characters don't vote or interact with each other. All you get is an introductory movie for most of them.

Y-yikes
Not quite accurate. Deploying them enough times can add optional story blurbs with them and other characters, but they're otherwise irrelevant to the main story.
Yikes.

Guess i’ll never complete my Dorothea, Maribelle Plus One.

Woe is me.

I am enjoying it.It's better than octopath and bravely default 2. Following the story is usefull for the choices you have to make later. The choices are good imo there's not clear good choices.

The gameplay doesn't share that much with fire emblem. It's closer to tactics ogre/FF tactics.
I am mostly wondering if multiples runs and hard mode are fun. That will dictate how much I enjoy the rest of the game.

Tell me when it happens ty

Ike is also yaoi bara bait depending on how you read his endings with Soren and Ranulf.
That reminds me, remember this promo image from Brawl?

they knew exactly what they were doing......

(Also wasn't ike voiced by a baseball player in the dub or something)

Awakening doesn't quite have the Ike level gay although it returns in TH. Frederick in Awakening is most likely bisexual or closeted lbr.

NG+ has you keep everything, your characters, levels, upgrades, items, etc. You basically start NG+ Ch1 with your level 30 units fighting against the level 30 ch1 brigands and the game just continues on from there.

It's honestly a lot more enjoyable of an NG+ than what Three Houses did since rather than starting over from level 1, NG+ just feels like you're continuing the game. And NG++ and beyond just has both you and all the enemies at the level 50 level cap.

Game even has a Radiant Dawn style Let's split up into three armies moment

Somewhat offtopic but over the past year I've been playing a bunch of GBAFE romhacks. Most of them are shit but there are some real diamonds in there.

The best one I've played is Storge:

It's a really short hack (only 5 chapters) but it has a ton of replay value. The gimmick is that you recruit all characters (out of a roster of 33) and buy all items/weapons you need in the prologue, and then have to beat the game with those restrictions. All the characters play differently so it's all about getting a good synergy. The story is basic but it's not half bad either considering it's so short.

I had finally completed the Revelation path with my difficulty being Hard mode, and it's like they went out of their way to fuck it up. The beginning maps are tedious as all shit and only serve to power level Corrin while the rest of your team is just mediocre, or useless on Lunatic. The midgame has more standard rout maps like Birthright, but there really isn't many characters that are worth using, so you just shit stomp it with your early game characters of choice. I'd say the beginning of Endgame is when you get Xander and Ryoma, and the game shifts back into epic Valla map gimmicks. This game would unironically be better if it was just Awakening tier gameplay where pretty much anybody you want turns into a fat bundle of stats.

I'll definitely try that hack out though, I find one of the most enjoyable parts of FE is switching up the characters you use compared to last time.

I had a realization yesterday. Edelgard believing that she is the only one that can fix Fodland that she has to kill to do it is very big for her character and makes her actually unique instead of some redhaired tsundere.

I was mad that she essentially becomes main villain #1 and dies in all routes except one but.........perhaps this makes her character more compelling after all.

I don't know man, just about anyone can develop an savior complex after watching the pope placing several gag orders on people. Who wouldn't feel uncomfortable about being told to ignore the fact that your family heirlooms can mutate people into an giant monster?

Yeah and the seething is legendary.
I do hope he treats this relationship more seriously than his flings with Goose and Ryn.
No, but like even not mentioning his haters. When the drama dropped I really though he isn't beyond all the trainwrecks we regularly feature on this site. The stuff made him look really bad and his saving grace is that mob who was trying to crucify him was looking to vicious to go behind.

And after two years, he dropped bad habbits that made him go in trouble, manged to have some quite decent life. He's in relationship, has decent success on you tube, seems to have healthy social relationships overall. After seeing all of this you just have to root for this guy. He pulled himself together.
