There won't be another wow exodus lol, ff14 right now is also in bad shape. Maybe with next expansion but I doubt it since I think they'll end up in wow's classic+ anyway. Also another 100 totems and I haven't looted a single pair of wings in this expansion. These extremes and the latest content they have been shitting out lately are making me want to quit this unrewarding game. I think the mounts should have been buyable with totems since the beginning. but blahblah rare and prestigious and ex's would be dead if people got their 99 totems yadahyadah, just make current extremes reward faux leaves, problem solved.
It's been years since I've watched Zepla's content. Has her accent always been like that or is she acting it up more? Either way I had to stop after a minute because I forgot how...dull...she is.
Also its only been a couple weeks since Evercold got announced and I'm already getting exhausted by all the CCs saying 'OMG I'M BACK GUUUYYYSSS' or 'FFXIV IS BACK!'. Game never went anywhere (besides what I'm hoping was a very brief detour to a Mexican shithole in terms of location and quality) and, much like the people who announce when they are 'leaving' something, it is equally annoying to announce your return since only your syncophants will give a damn.
Guess I just don't get it since my brain doesn't look at everything in the world as 'content' like CCs do and I just exist.

I liked it at first but then it became one of those cases where you hear something way more than you should and it stops being good and starts becoming shit.
On top of that, the loop is so short and hearing it on repeat makes me want to shoot myself in the head after the first loop.
I wonder how much of the budget they've spent on the stupid song alone. I bet Tom isn't that cheap to get on board to do something. 7.4 felt pretty bare bores with the entire MSQ taking place in a dungeon and a variant that was ripped out from a mobile game that rewards sleep masks.
Still trying to level warrior, still logging out to do literally anything else with my day after 2-3 dungeons because of how tedious and trash the leveling experience is for alt jobs. I'd put a gun in my mouth if I had dps queues for this shit.
On a more positive note, the Encyclopedia Eorzea books are on sale on Amazon so I picked them up. They're well made, colorful, and the lore is more fun than playing the game.
Worth a grab if you're into lore/etc. It's genuinely an interesting way to read about all their lore tidbits and world building, which is something SE genuinely does well mostly. Including a racial census for the different major cities is such an odd but amusing thing to include.

I've got the set of these, and yeah they're a lot of fun.
They also make me painfully depressed because SE gave up on trying to have vaguely coherent but creative writing to give us whatever the fuck Dawntrail was. We went from lands with highly fleshed out background lore, struggles based in lengthy histories to care about, and characters who felt like an actual product of the lands they came from...
