Yeah and there is zero reason to go to Limsa or Uldah or Gridania unless youre a super new player.

Once you finish the 1-50 MSQ you never have to go back minus quick trips for seasonal quests and random legacy content.

When I have to go to Limsa I liken it to having to go downtown to pick up something ofcourse youre going to see homeless people.

Don't know why would anyone hang out there willingly when the whole game can be accessed from anywhere.

Teleport to Company Estate button is the only way I get to my Mist FC house. Avoid the lower decks aetheryte at any cost.

Unlike most MMOs, the reporting system will actually have consequences if you act 'offensive' to folks.

The speds doing shit like what you described are generally doing it behind closed doors and find it agreeable, hence no reports.

A lot of people suspect he was a member of that old Zodiark Trancer discord server that got raided by a 4chan user and exposed as a server full of Venat haters that raided multiple sites and dogpiled people on social media for liking Venat or Endwalker in general. One of them was a gay Scottish guy named Theodric and this Athena guy is probably him, despite the channel denying any involvement with the Trancer group.

Trancers formed from the “Lackluster Story of Endwalker” thread on the official forums where they took over the original post of someone simply expressing disappointment in EW’s story and dragged it out to 900+ pages of “Venat is evil and Zodiark was the good guy” slap fights. It’s a long story but here are some posts for context-

I‘ve definitely seen the Soren guy all over Twitter causing shit and thankfully getting slapped down in the process with people posting the trancer comic to make fun of him.
Also I don’t have a rpgcodex account so I can’t go very far into someone’s post history but I remember awhile back Thalsarion complaining about the lack of good character customization options for gay men who play XIV and that gay players supposedly got harassed by fujos on the OF for asking for more masculine designs. So that might be a link.

and I don't understand why anyone actually uses them for glam, they just look boring and uninspired as shit

These people don't view it as a traditional fantasy game, but Second Life where they idle and socialize with others in modernwear and bikinis all day after rushing the content

You have to remember that the vast majority of these people would never wear these outfits in public. They are either too fat, too ugly, or too trooned out to wear clothes like these and look an eighth as good (subjective) as their characters do. So, as @C L E O mentioned, this is their new Second Life where they get to look as hideous as their heart desires and also has some actual gameplay and story sprinkles in there.

And a lot of the modernwear outfits are t-shirts and pants or reject shit you'd see at Hot Topic and, unless times have changed drastically, are absolutely the kind of shit you'd see people like that wearing.
