Sheila Jeffreys, it's been a while since I read her work so I can't give a good answer but I enjoyed all her books that I read so far. Anticlimax: A Feminist Perspective on the Sexual Revolution is a good one to start with.

I had the misfortune of living with a couple polyamorous pooners in my life and I thought of that chapter nearly every day while living with them. There were studies shown that people today work more than the average medival serf and that in tribe societies people would work 4 hours maximum with rest of the day having it for themselves, but no why come to a decent conclusion when you can just instead violently spew shit out of your mouth because that shit pushes a certain narrative you agree with?

Also don't forget the other Holy Reddit talking point men love to parrot nonstop when it comes to this topic which is "Women would rather be wagecucks and submit to a boss that hates them and yells at them than be wives and mothers that submit to a man that loves them". That whole statement is very retarded because
1) You are way more likely to be yelled at by your own husband than a boss and usually bosses that act like that usually get reprimanded or fired for acting like this because working spaces are regulated, where as homes don't tend to be.

2) If you have a shitty boss, you can always quit your job and go find another one, whereas if you're stuck with an abusive controlling husband and if you try to leave chances are you'll get murdered.

3) For every shitty boss a woman had, another woman can tell you multiple stories about herself or women in her own life that submitted themselves to a husband like they were told to and followed every instruction provided to them to a T on how to be a good housewife that would allegedly make their husbands really happy, only for that husband to basically decide to destroy everything whether it's him completely decimating the marriage with Rekieta style hedonism or trooning out.

The people forced to corvée had some time for holy pilgrimages and such, but for the events like harvest they had to work very hard both on their landlords and their own piece of land and make it in sometimes very small time window. Apart from other duties for the landlord throughout the year.

I think fujos or really any type of woman can crush on a gay guy. I've known quite a few women who were genuinely attracted or aroused by gay men before they knew they were gay men and women who, even knowing a man's sexuality, find him attractive. I myself experienced crushes on gay men before I knew they were gay. It depends on pretty much anyone's preferences and another's performance. I've known sensitive, kind, quiet gay guys who are "my type" of men in terms of preference combo who were in the closet for a while and even dated women before coming out. "We always just thought you were bi" is a common saying in a lot of circles, as is "I'd date you if you/I were straight!"

In terms of specifically fujo attraction to gay men, I think @Ajkaceratops is correct in the theory that it's penis envy and a self-absorbed type of arousal. But I think a lot of fujo/TIFs will also SOCIALLY/CULTURALLY envy gay men because they're considering them in that stereotypical way that heterosexual people tend to view gay people as sexual, gendered analogues that conflate with more conventional understandings of social gender. "Whaaat?! An ~effeminate~ gay man!? How fun!! I'm jealous he gets to act and 'wear whatever' he wants!" Even though most people know gay men can't really do, say, act, wear whatever they want all the time, we also know that fujos are not going to do the mental work to see past stereotypes, since their very identities are founded in them.

This same type of thinking leads people to have those narrow views of ~*~gender~*~, which leads the worst of them to transition. I lived with a TIF who read out her teenage diary where she lamented that because she wasn't a girly-girl, boys didn't like her; she took a typical childish stereotypical view that life would be "easier" if she was a gay man. They really do see other people's material existence as costumes, as consumable goods. So when a fujo is "crushing" on a gay guy, I think some arousal and attraction are there, but I also think she's objectifying gay men as this product she can incorporate into her life or a lifestyle she can emulate.

It's even more disturbing to me when said fujos are trying to emulate being little boys, like this fat creep.

I was friends with a bunch of girls like that in highschool and I think you're at least partially right. As far as I can tell there's a few factors that can also apply at the same time:
1) They're into men. Two men being together is hot to them.
2) They don't want to have sex / a relationship so they don't want a woman involved that represents them as a reader.
3) They don't see women as equal to men so a relationship between two guys seems more meaningful to them.
4) They see women as competition and it's less threatening to see their fave tumblr sexyman be with a guy rather than another woman (that's hotter than them).
