In less then three weeks (Sunday, 24.) Germany elects the new Bundestag. for more details see here
Possible coalitions are: CDU/SPD: unpopular, only if nothing else works; SPD/Linke/Grüne: unlikely because of ideological differences; CDU/FDP or CDU/Grüne: majority uncertain

The major parties and their candidates are:

CDU: 39% center right, party of chancellor Merkel, carried by her popularity

SPD: 24% center left, Martin Schulz, former president of the European Parliament, distancing themselfs from the CDU with more social justice (not in the american interpretation)

FDP: 9% liberal, Christian Lindner (youngest candidate), lower taxes, business friendly, personal freedom

Linke: 8% left, Sahra Wagenknecht (hard left) and Dietmar Bartsch (moderate left)

AfD: 8% right, Alexander Gauland (former CDU member, changed when the CDU went too centrist) anti refugees

Grüne: 7% green, Katrin Göring-Eckardt and Cem Özdemir (both from the conservative wing) prefer a coalition with CDU or SPD over the Linke

This is a real problem.

It is, there should be something like the 22nd amendment.

From 0 to 3rd largest party in parliament, pretty impressive:

Pretty good failure there, I do like how these people can't help but speak for other people in order to make themselves appear stronger.
Yesterday there was a lots more reports about anti fa rioting in Germany via google. It seems these results were scrubbed

There actually is a Neo-Nazi party in Germany who outright advocate killing Jews. There was an attempt to ban them for being terrorists, but the courts ruled that they weren't dangerous enough. That must sting.

Petryreich when?

Never. She left the party today. Similar rifts are happening in the National Front in France.

Well...fuck. :(

There was a pretty good way to "counter the nazis", and that was to go to the polls.
Something tells me that most of those obese men on black clothing didn't bother to vote.

We've also already got the inevitable calls for violence by minor e-celebs

he's some gay hipster nonbinary they/them/xir plz, mentally ill youtuber making videos about mental health and troon shit who can't pronounce English tumblr words to save his life. He might make a fun lolcow if all of his shit wasn't in German

Translation: "I'm not a violent person, but everyone who punches the AfD in the mouth has my deepest solidarity. Forever. At all times. Without compromise"

In the sea of salt somehow he managed to stand out still.

Not sure how ironic everyone is being here, but most of those "Nazi" positions are the same that Merkel's party used to hold back in the 00's before it got turned into Merkel's personal pet rent-a-whore to lobbies and euro interests. Deeply conservative, shit opinions like anti abortion and stuff.

The simple truth is that insane PC culture made it so afd were the only ones voicing concern with Islam and the "refugee" issue, making it their USP.
If there had been any party among the more established ones with the hint of balls required to mention that maybe no, flooding a country with illegals and then shitting on your own people is not the way to go, I guarantee the afd wouldn't even be in parliament now.

From the looks of it, the established parties have now turned into a petulant clique of teenage girls, making the afd look like the brave underdog. The MSM are popping corks with the very, very short sighted outlook to turn a quick buck with afd hate and demonization of 10 million German voters. Antifa and checkmarks are lying and screaming 24/7, trying to engineer a shambling homunculus version of that astroturf #resist thing in burgerland.

All this will surely not backfire in any way on nobody.
