The Vietnam expansion sounds really interesting. I've always thought Vietnam would be a perfect fit for Far Cry.

They released a Far Cry 5 movie that details the rise Eden's Gate but I don't have Amazon Prime so I don't know if it's any good.
 
Farcry 5s map builder looks pretty deep
Chock full of ubisoft assets such as splinter cell, assassins creed, rainbow six models, environments and textures. Looks like previous Farcry content is in there.

Worth it at least for hunting wabbids
 
Far Cry 5 might actually be pretty decent. I skipped 4 for obvious reasons, 3 was great at a discount.
I dunno I might get it. Watching the new tv show about Waco is really getting me in the mood.

4 is surprisingly decent. It actually controlled really well, the villain ends up being really fleshed out and even honorable all things considered and the story, assuming you don't go for the"this could have been over in 8 minutes" ending really does a great job in showing you why you should really not give a shit about colonial bullshit that happened 200 years ago

Is there a way to redo missions?

I just did that weed burning mission, first of all it's fucking funny as hell second the flame thrower is kinda trash I thought but OMG was it rewarding feeling.

Plus that song made me kind giggle some dubstep bob marley shit burning Jace's true and honest earned weed and a bunch of pirates.
 
5 comes out tomorrow. I shifted my schedule around and gave up some overtime so I'll have plenty of time to play it. Already installed so just waiting for the unlock.

Initial reviews are very positive so I'm fuckin' ready!
 
I skipped 3 and 4 (but did play the masterpiece that was blood dragon). I might actually pick up 5 this time around. Co-op sound fun as hell.
 
My initial review of this game is 0/10 because it's unplayable without making an account for some stupid shit called Uplay jfc I should've just pirated it.

I have no idea why this wasn't mentioned in reviews.
 
I'm about an hour or so in on PC with a 1080ti and I have to say I'm very impressed with the look, the way weapons feels and the controls, but jesus fucking christ they make you waste all that time installing the game, even with a pre-load, then make you sit through a 30 minute cutscene and a 10 minute tutorial/cutscene before you start doing anything that isn't hand holding and exposition. Kojima and Warren Spector are the only designers who should EVER do a cutscene or an intro longer than 3 minutes, since they're the only two who know how to build a story instead of just bring you a shitty news report.

edit: small gripe, but who the fuck puts AK style blade sights on a fucking AR? That keeps annoying me to no end and I know its my own 'tism fucking with me
 
I'm still sad we never got blood dragon 2.
The director of that game recentrly left Ubisoft, so that pretty much confirms it wont ever happen.
 
I'm committed to Fallout 4 at the moment, but my birthday is coming up soon, so Far Cry 5 is looking awfully tempting.
