I really like the Beretta Px4 Storm, particularly the compact version. There's files online if you want to print your frame, the parts aren't all that expensive, and it looks/ feels nice.
Woo, there are dozens of us... or at least 2.
I have the subcompact 40 and compact 45, I like both very much. Would like to red-dot the subcompact as it's one of my 3 options for EDC.

Nice. Did you buy it new or from a reseller?
Sadly new. I plan to keep it forever so resale isn't an issue, but keeping money is always better.
Lesson learned though, next time I've got the disposable dosh and get watch fever I'm going through a reputable reseller.

Model 36 Smith and Wesson J frame, 38 special, with a uncle mikes pocket carry holster. 5 shots. Fits cozy in a cargo pocket.
Excellent setup. My Model 60 is a tiny bit chubbbier.

If I want hyper deep carry I go for a Berretta Tomcat 21A.... yeas I know it's .22lr but that can kill someone and it beats harsh language.

List of my pocket-autism L to R:
Grand Seiko "Snowflake" springdrive watch: Expensive, got it during the last huge crypto bullmarket cause I wanted a nice watch. It can be worn with anything. about as accurate as a mechanical watch can be. ++ nobody will ever try to rob you for a "Seiko" and you won't be asking "does she just love me for my Rolex??"

OffStamp Vape: If you must have the mouth fedora, then disposables are probably the most "normal" option, but they always use throat destroying salt nic and cost a lot. These are cool cause the battery on the right side is a one time purchase and the "tank" uses normal Vg/Pg freebase nic. Secured with figetable magnets and it has a baja blast flavor. Refills are like 10-15 bucks compared to the usual $23 for a disposable.

Unihertz Jellystar: I wanted a tiny phone to make space in my pockets and this thing rules. Runs Android 13, has all the apps you could want, only thing lacking is the camera. I have an old giant iphone for when I want to take photos, and hey at least I can take cool 2007 era pics with the jelly star. They're coming out with a Jellystar Max that will be a little smaller than the smallest iphone and has a 100MP camera so I'll probably switch to that when it's time to upgrade. Hoez hate green texts but I just think of it like a little shit-test of my own. If she's put off by my Android use of all things she's probably not the girl for me.

Microtech UTX85: Smaller version of the full sized ultratech. Also expensive, also bought during the crypto bull market of 21. I enjoy it and nobody really freaks out about knives round these parts so an OTF isn't a problem. I also have an Emerson and a Spyderco PM2 that get regular use.

Stingray Skin Wallet: I got so sick of card holders and went back to the old style bifold. It's better, has space, ect. If you want exotic leather wallets for a lower price than most places try BootBarn's online store. They have a bunch of "cowboy" ones that look tacky, but they also have great deals on unmarked ones like this. Maybe $100? I get compliments on it more often than you'd expect for a wallet.
Clocked that Stingray wallet from a mile away :P

Outstanding watch choice. Once the Evo 9 GMT comes out with a Blue dial..... RIP my watch budget for 18 months :P

Never heard of a Jellystar. A hoe that hates green texts or is looking for a Rollie is for the streets....

Almost every watch purchase should be under MSRP, either grey, discounted by a retailer, or secondhand IMHO unless it's custom, or something REALLY unique. My quartz Grand Seiko GMT was 1/2 off and about 7 months from initial purchase.

An EDC knife that's always useful is a little Swiss Army Knife, particularly the Mini Champ. It has a little pen built in and is inoffensive as a knife can be.

I loved mine so much I got a backup.

Well yeah, the Model 60 is a a 357 rated gun lol
S&W_60_3in.jpg still want one, one day. Want a lot of Smiths tbh.

Probably go for the 32 acp Model if I went that route tbh. Thought about the Tomcat though, it's cute. Heavier than my J frame though (somehow).

The Bobcat is one of the every few GOOD .32 acp pistols on the market, that and the Kel tec P-32.

It's kinda big for what it is though.

IMHO the P-32 is a better pocket pistol as it's slimmer and has a short recoil system so it's SUPER nice to shoot for something so small

I run a Sig P226 personally for EDC.
Its a little large for some people but I'm 6'3" and I prefer a full size. I started out with an old West German model my Dad gave me for my birthday, now I'm old with a little more disposable income I run the P226 Legion model
226Legion.jpg
This isn't mine (I'm not doxing my serial number) but its pretty similar.
I don't want the flared mag well and stuff I have on my 3 Gun setup for EDC (I run a Shadow 2 for that, tricked out for competition, I don't want a 2 1/2 pound trigger on an EDC either) but my eyes aren't what they were in my 20's so the optics help.
They run a little pricey, but if I might have to depend my life on it I want the best I can afford. Newer Sigs have been known to have QC problems but the Legion range are top end so theres a lot more QC and care put into them. Plus its good to go out of the box without having to mess with the trigger or anything.

My current EDC:

P_20240712_105003~2.jpg
Phone, Dango minimalist wallet, Zippo, Gerber EAB Lite, Sig P365XL in an Aliengear IWB and keys and tools on a KeySmart holder.

I have a second KeySmart loaded with lock picking tools from LockpickingLawyer's Covert Instruments, but I keep that in the glove box of the truck.

A really good alternative to the S&W 60 is the Rossi Model 88, they basically bought tooling from S&W and made them down in South America. They are excellent, crazy value for the price. Very sturdy construction.

(t. I own one and I am extremely biased)

Oh hell yes! I fucking love Grand Seikos. I have an SBGA401 and an SBGY011. I'm never selling them.

Couldn't agree more. I've used Chrono 24 for just about all my watch purchases for the last few years. The only time it doesn't work is for custom stuff like you mentioned (custom RGM Model 25) or real niche micro brand stuff (Ginault Silent Service or anOrdain watches).

Hoo weee your Grand Seikos are fucking NICE. Enjoy them. I'm just waiting for the Evo 9 Spring drive GMT to get a blue dial (please God Lake Suwa blue) and I'm set.

Also, holy shit you have good taste with AnOrdain and Ginault. Ginault makes the BEST Rolex sub homage under $3k easily and their more unique stuff (Silent Service) is great too. 😎

Does anyone have any recommendations for a EDC stuff that isn't weapons, watches, flashlights or pens?
Looking for handy things to carry either on me or in my bag and those categories I already have something or wouldn't need it lol

I always carry those little instant juice powder packets. When I'm out I can just get free water at McDonalds or something.

Earplugs. Noisy talkers, unexpected construction, loud people in the restroom, etc.

A key organizer. Yeah I know they might look derpy but they're super useful and stop your keys for clanging around.

You can get hard plastic ones, fancy leather ones and so on

Most keep 3-9 keys all secure and some have a flip out action for your most used key or 2 keys.

In the same vein, I always have a bottle opener/box opener device with my keys. Ultra handy.

While not really a weapon, a small multitool (Leatherman Squirt size) does have a blade but it's inoffensive and the entire tool is very Handy.

If you had to do it again, where would you go?
Chrono 24 with box and papers. I've never bought from there but had it on my phone for about a couple years. Had to stop browsing before I spent too much money on more watches.

You've got great taste. The black on the SBGA401 really sets the rose gold off

Apart from what you mentioned I carry a few things.
Ear pro.
A Zippo.
One of those recharger battery packs you can recharge your phone or whatever with a USB cable.
A multi tool.
Dental floss.
Oh and one of those Swedish firesteel fire lighters on my key chain.
