People from the middle east, mostly Syria are fleeing to Europe because of war and poverty. People are dieing just trying to cross the Mediterranean. The EU is trying to solve the crisis while other countries are closing their borders.

The Russians really know how to handle this situation. They have only granted refugee status to a grand total of 3 Syrians and given temporary asylum to a little over 1600, which is only good for one year. They deport the rest of those draft dodgers.

I think the UK did the right thing agreeing to take a specific number of refugees from camps in Syria and refusing to take those who travel over and not giving into the "Think of the children!" argument.

Germany and Sweeden's stance has caused more people to take the dangerous journey from Syria to Europe and increased things like fake Syrian passports that economic migrants from other countries use to pretend to be refugees. (And potentially terrorists which might be alarmist but it's still a possibility)

I've been hearing that the migrants have caused Sweden to pas South Africa as rape capital of the world. Anyone know if this is true?

I don't understand why anyone feels the need to appease the migrants like in the story posted above about the German school asking little girls to cover up so as not to "temp" the men being housed in the school's gym. That's fucking ridiculous.

I think the rape statistics for Sweden are extremely inflated because they have a much looser definition of rape than other countries, and that will produce a lot of "false positives". If you will recall, Sweden was trying to charge Julian Assange for rape because he didn't wear a condom during consensual sex.

No one knows for sure. Sweden tracks their rape statistics differently than everyone else, which inflates them. I think you simply need to be accused of rape for them to track it. Sweden also doesn't record race statistics of crime.

It's not going to change, not for a long while I reckon.

Complete cultural overhauls have occurred in short-spaces of time, but it took WW2 to see it happen to the Germans and the Japanese. There's going to be no easy way through this, especially not with the West propping up these despicable regimes.
